Our relationships and the people that surround us are so important to our growth, faith, and our walk with Christ. We need others for the fall, the cold night, and the fight.

Ecclesiastes 4:9–12 ESV
9 Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. 10 For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! 11 Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? 12 And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

For the Fall

At some point or another in this life, we might experience falling. Every Christian at some point in there life falls into temptation, messes up, or sins against God. Without anybody to dust our feet, pray for us and encourage us, it is almost impossible to get up.

For the Cold Night

At some or another in this life you will experience a cold night. Cold nights are those moments that you did not necessarily cause yourself. It is about the circumstance around you. Tough moments of loss, a dry season, and sickness. These are out of our control, but we als need people to help warm us up during this time.
Kindled coals that are separated become cool quickly, kindled coals that are placed together have lasting heat.

For the Fight

The kingdom of darkness is after your soul. When you decide to fight against it with the power of God you are going to need people by your side. If you are going to fight for holiness, fight for your marriage, family, career, home, finances, legacy, inheritance, honor, then you must surround yourself with others. One soldier can make damage, but many can defeat.
Proverbs 27:
Proverbs 27:17 ESV
17 Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.
I would not be preaching today if was not for those i have surrounded myself with. Surrounding myself with people like Karina, Luis, Joshua, Annabelle, and Elianna has shaped me in ways that are hard to understand. Surrounding myself with people who are trying to honor God and being obedient to his word, and seeking him constantly, will make a person who does the SAME.
Proverbs 13:20 ESV
20 Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm.
Proverbs 6:16–19 ESV
16 There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: 17 haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18 a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, 19 a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.
Proverbs 16:9–12 ESV
9 The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps. 10 An oracle is on the lips of a king; his mouth does not sin in judgment. 11 A just balance and scales are the Lord’s; all the weights in the bag are his work. 12 It is an abomination to kings to do evil, for the throne is established by righteousness.
