There are a lot of things that happen in baptism.
Baptism is first and foremost about commitment.
Belonging requires commitment.

What does baptism do?

Baptism doesn’t save you. ()
Baptism testifies to the community about your salvation. ()
Baptism marks your entrance into the community of believers. ()

Who should be baptised?

Those who believe
It doesn’t matter who you are (note. Gentiles) Ref: (NO SLIDE)
Did you believe the Jesus of the Bible? (i.e. What if I was baptised in another church or tradition?)
NOTE: Rarely does someone have a full understanding of what they believe at the time they are baptised. Thats ok.
Those who repent
Those who are 100% in
Those who are ready to step in (all in) and to belong.
