In the continuation of Paul’s direct instruction to Timothy, the apostle appears to address the inevitable pressure of heresy and false teaching that were present in his day and, naturally, in ours as well. Paul affirms that leaders will need to be on guard against those who have corrupt natures and who teach broken doctrine. This will only change when we have been restored fully. Until that time, beware.
