IMAGE – The new man is created after the Image of God.
This putting off the old man and this putting on of the new man took place at the moment the Colossian sinner put his Faith in Christ, which is the same with all Believers.
Every Believer is a new creation in Christ Jesus, meaning that all was carried out at the Cross, and the Believer’s Faith in the Cross, with the Holy Spirit then bringing about regeneration.

WHERE THERE IS NEITHER – In the renewed state, it cannot exist.

BELOVED – The Saints are those who have been loved by God with the present result that they are the objects of His Love.

BOWELS OF MERCIES – A heart of compassion.
God has shown us mercy, we in turn should show mercy to others.
KINDNESS – Gentle, gracious disposition.
HUMBLENESS OF MIND – Refers to having a humble opinion of one’s self

LONGSUFFERING – Expresses patience under the ill-treatment of others
