Godly Wisdom & Power

There was much arguing in the Corinthian church:

people took sides,

and some were arguing about

whether to mention the cross while spreading the faith

The Message of the Cross

Foolishness to those on the path of Destruction (Perishing/dying)

The Power of God to those on the path of Salvation (Living)

Come to completeness on the Last Day.

The Foolish reject the message of Jesus death on the Cross.

But do they perish

because they reject or

do they reject the message

because they are perishing?

Practically speaking, it is absurd to find

any truth about God in Jesus crucifixion.

Only wisdom given from God can reveal

the truth about the crucifixion.
