John 3:1–7 ESV
1 Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. 2 This man came to Jesus by night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do unless God is with him.” 3 Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” 4 Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” 5 Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’
4 Quick Lessons

You Must Be Born Again!

Rejecting the Need for a Savior.
Rejecting Jesus As The Needed Savior.
It is not how they act. A Christian should act differently than the World/

Lesson #1 Baseline: This is the starting point, not the end result. We are not working to get there, we start there.

Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
FOR I KNOW.......DECLARES THE LORD. (WHO?) Let me tell you about the LORD.
Genesis 1:1 NASB95
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Elohime: 3 Volunteers Father Son & Holy Spirit, the triune God.
The Covenant Making God.
Before He every spoke the universe into existence, the Covenant making, triune God made a covenant.
That is the God who says to you. I have a plan for you.
Ephesians 2:10 NKJV
10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:10 NLT
10 For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
His Masterpiece
Michelangelo (If Time)
We are the Master's Masterpiece.
People should be able to tell You have been made by the Master.
But First You need to Know it.
He poured His best into YOU.
Jeremiah 1:4–8 NKJV
4 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: 5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” 6 Then said I: “Ah, Lord God! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth.” 7 But the Lord said to me: “Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’ For you shall go to all to whom I send you, And whatever I command you, you shall speak. 8 Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you,” says the Lord.
Vs 5 Before I Formed You, I knew You. Before you were born, I set you apart. I ordained you for this moment in time.
YOU ARE NOT A MISTAKE. I don’t car if your parents told you, you were unplanned. I don’t car if you never knew your parents. Even if you were the product of a violent rape. YOU WERE NOT A MISTAKE AND YOU DID NOT CATCH GOD BY MISTAKE. You are God’s Masterpiece. Not only that. He has a plan for your life.
Ephesians 2:10 AMP
10 For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].
Hassleblad (Describe)
There is nothing wrong with being a good door stop, if you were created to be a door stop. You might even be an excellent door stop, BUT IF YOU WERE CREATED TO BE A HASSLEBLAD, then let’s be a Hassleblad, because you will be judged as a Hassleblad, not a door stop.

The Holy Spirit wants to show up and show off the kingdom, and we are the vehicle he chooses to show up in.
Do we cooperate with Him?

Vs 19 Truly, truly. The one who did not lie, and could not lie says, Guys, I’m telling you the truth. Why? Read on.

He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 “Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on My own initiative, but the Father abiding in Me does His works.

He will be identical to Me in the way I speak, the way I think, the way I operate, the way I see things and the way I do things. He will be exactly like Me in every way. If He is here, it will be just as if I am here because we think, behave and operate the same.” Rick Renner The Dynamic Duo- The Holy Spirit and You.
