Ephesians 2:11-22; February 4, 2007, FBC

I=ve never traveled outside of North America.
Canada is the extent of my Aforeign@ adventures.
Each time we have crossed the border, it was always good to get to the American border again.
On one of our trips, I was carrying a telescopic rifle sight for a friend.
It would be left in Canada.
When the man asked if we were going to leave anything in the country, I told him about this.
It was an innocent beginning to a lengthy ordeal which culminated in a physical search of our entire car.
Nothing like those reminders that this is not your home.
Countries are not the only place that you might feel out of place.
One of the major prejudices in Alaska centers around the conflict between urban and rural lifestyles.
In fact, wherever you have people, you will find them dividing into groups that prescribe a certain behavior.
If you conform, you are in.
If you don=t, you are out.
It is part of the fleshly makeup of mankind.
Even Christians are not immune.
