Romans 1:16-17 Paul says he is not ashamed of the Gospel
2 Timothy 1:1-14 Paul instructs Timothy to not be ashamed of the gospel.
Paul serves God

Paul has hope
All of this is internal
Expressed through external acts

Conscience clear internally and externally
External demonstration of care for others
1 Peter 3:13-17 Peter teaches set Christ apart internally so your behavior will be Chirstlike
John 4:23-24 Jesus teach we are to worship in Spirit and truth
Observing the Commandments of God
1 John 2:3-6 Internal trust brings about external practice “If you love Me you will keep my commandments” -John 14:15
The charges are deceptive to show Paul is a Political threat
The truth is their hatred is because Paul is a religious threat
