THEME:

“20/20: Vision; Imagination; Open Mouth!” PT 2

TOPIC: 20/20 Vision for a FAITH driven LIFE!

VISION I

DISCIPLESHIP: We are SAVED for DISCIPLESHIP and to SERVE! There is a difference between SALVATION and DISCIPLESHIP!

A. SALVATION-is a ONE-TIME event. It happens the moment someone BELIEVES in JESUS CHRIST as their personal SAVIOR!

Romans 10:9 New King James Version (NKJV)

9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

DISCIPLESHIP-is a LONG TERM process. It happens when a SAVED person DECIDES to FOLLOW and OBEY JESUS CHRIST on a DAILY basis. (Word, Will and Way)

Luke 9:23 New King James Version (NKJV)

23 Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross [a]daily, and follow Me.

B. FAITH-KINGDOM LIFE comes with ETERNAL LIFE that changes our LIFE on EARTH and for HEAVEN. Our FAITH, must be DEVELOPED and MATURED!

Luke 17:5 New King James Version (NKJV)

5 And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.”

Proverbs 4:7 New King James Version (NKJV)

7 Wisdom is the principal thing;

Therefore get wisdom.

And in all your getting, get understanding.

• GOD is SIMPLISTIC but not SIMPLE. We need to KNOW GOD to BELIEVE in HIM and MORE about HIM. You can’t BELIEVE what you don’t KNOW!

Hebrews 11:6 New King James Version (NKJV)

6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Philippians 3:10 New King James Version (NKJV)

10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,

GOD gives us ALL of HIS SPIRIT and WAITS on us to YIELD more and more, so HE can work with and through us.

Ephesians 3:20 New King James Version (NKJV)

20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

STEWARDSHIP : As we MATURE spiritually in the Word of GOD, a progressive PRAYER LIFE, and faithful service to GOD! HE gives us KEYS to HIS KINGDOM!

Matthew 16:18-19 New King James Version (NKJV)

18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not [a]prevail against it.

19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth [b]will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

These spiritual KEYS, allows us to be EMPOWERED CARETAKERS and POSSESSERS of the EARTH.

Genesis 1:28 New King James Version (NKJV)

28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that [a]moves on the earth.”

C. PECULIAR: Many CHRISTIANS run from being ASSOCIATED with this word. This is a POWERFUL and BELOVED in GOD’s HOLY WORD.

(Greek Def)-Create a thing and put a Circle around it. (Barrier)

When you are PECULIAR in the LORD, HE will put a CIRCLE around you; a BARRIER! (Job, Jonah, Noah…) GOD will put a CIRCLE OF: Promise, Protection, Provision, Possibilities!)

Jeremiah 32:27 New King James Version (NKJV)

27 “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?

D. KINGDOM KEYS: Loving and Responsible PARENTS, do not give their CHILDREN things they are not PREPARED and MATURE enough to handle.

Our heavenly FATHER, is the same way. Even JESUS our BIG BROTHER, did not give PETER KEYS to the KINGDOM, until HE showed MATURITY in his statement; “Thou art the CHRIST, the SON of the living GOD”

Obedience is a CHARACTERISTIC of PARENTAL guidance. Honor is a SIGN of RESPECT and RELATIONSHIP with your PARENTS.

Exodus 20:12 New King James Version (NKJV)

12 “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God is giving you.

Mark 12:30 New King James Version (NKJV)

30 And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ [a]This is the first commandment.

If we are going to CALL ourselves, SERVANTS of the LORD, then we must do as HE requires and treat HIM with COURTESY in our RELATIONSHIP.

As DISCIPLES who have become STEWARDS, we UNDERSTAND our KINGDOM KEYS, represent TRUST and AUTHORITY! Our lifestyle must DEMONSTRATE (Confidence, Character and Courage).

KING/PRIEST: We walk the EARTH in AUTHORITY, being whom GOD declared us to be in HIS PURPOSE!

Jeremiah 29:11 New King James Version (NKJV)

11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Z
