Scripture

2 Timothy 1:6-7
2 Timothy 1:6–7 NKJV
6 Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. 7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Fear

Fear includes anxiety, dread, and loss of courage in the face of an unpleasant or dangerous situation. The fear of God can refer either to the awe, reverence, and respect that is the proper deferential attitude toward the divine, or the physical dread and terror evoked by the divine presence or by the experience of divine wrath.

An attitude of anxiety or distress, caused by concern over a threat to one’s future.

Mind

Mind/Reason. That part of the human being in which thought takes place and perception and decisions to do good, evil, and the like come to expression
