do we as a church have the desire to grow?

are we as a church willing to do what it takes to grow?

How can we as a church participate in church growth?

one way we can all participate in helping the church grow is to be dedicated to spreading the gospel message.

what word had they recieved?

Acts 2:37

they heard the gospel - the words about Jesus

yes the death burial and resurrection.

that is the message that Peter preached that day, that is the message that caused about three thousand to be baptized.

In chapter 3 Peter and john continue teaching the gospel, the message of Jesus and his death burial and resurrection

so dedicated and convicted of the importance of spreading the gospel message that when they were commanded not to speak they responded

after the angel releases the apostles from prison in acts 5 they are told to speak…the whole message of life.

the message of Jesus Christ that life is found only in Jesus.

When we stay silent the gospel is not heard and the gospel does not spread.

there was such a priority in them teaching the word that they said it is not desirable, good to neglect the Word of God.

It has priority.

the gospel has to be proclaimed.

the message has to continue to be spoken and heard.

as the word of God spreads so does the number of disciples

is it any wonder why the

But preacher we understand that the apostles were commanded to by Jesus to spread that message and we see that they took that job seriously but that doesn’t mean everyone has the responsabilty to speak the word of God does it?

Col. 4:

if the church is going to grow, we all must be involved in spreading the Gospel.

All have that responsibility.

those in the early church not just the apostles went about spreading the message of Jesus Christ and we must do the same.

do we as a church have the desire to grow?

How can we as a church participate in church growth?

will you follow the example laid out in the book of acts Preach, teach and live Jesus?
