Psalm 144:1 NKJV
1 Blessed be the Lord my Rock, Who trains my hands for war, And my fingers for battle—

When God starts to water your life, the enemy will attack.

there is a place in the dessert that you can find refreshment it is called an oasis.
another thing that you can find in an oasis is violence.
when the children of Israel where in the wilderness God provided them water twice. from a bitter pool the first time and a rock the second.
the bible says that once the Israelite found water the second time the Amalekites showed up.
Amalekites show up when water is around.
the more you ask God to water your life the more the Amalekites showed up.
Amalekites are descendants of Esau.
the Amalekites first show up in Exodus 17.
The confrontation of Moses and the Amalekites is recorded in:
Deuteronomy 25:17–18 NKJV
17 “Remember what Amalek did to you on the way as you were coming out of Egypt, 18 how he met you on the way and attacked your rear ranks, all the stragglers at your rear, when you were tired and weary; and he did not fear God.
This sounds a lot like John 10a.
John 10:10 NKJV
10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Moses raises his hands and slaves who fought a battle with men of war.

these slaves where not allowed to have or use weapons.

Exodus 17:11 NKJV
11 And so it was, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.
by the time Isreal passed over the Jordan and took the promise land.
all those born into slavery had dies (with the exception of Joshua and Caleb).
these dessert born babies are who come into the promise land.
remember after Jesus was baptised the Spirit lead him into the wilderness to be tempted.
when you get into the Spirit you can expect the Amalekites to show up, but God will teach your hands to war and your fingers to make battle.

The Lord is my banner.

what did moses do after the Lord gave victory over the Amalekites? He built an alter and said “the Lord is my banner.”
when you get attacked by the Modern day Amalekites Just raise your hands and say the Lord is my banner.
we don’t want to be ignorant of Satan’s devices.
2 Corinthians 2:9–11 NKJV
9 For to this end I also wrote, that I might put you to the test, whether you are obedient in all things. 10 Now whom you forgive anything, I also forgive. For if indeed I have forgiven anything, I have forgiven that one for your sakes in the presence of Christ, 11 lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.
the Apostle Paul tells us later in the chapter the we have to open our eyes.
2 Corinthians 11:14–15 NKJV
14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.
Satan doesn't look like he is often depicted in the movies or art. if he did we wouldn't fall for it.
we need to understand that God has plans and strategies as well. he has a plan to get us out of any situation that we are in.

the enemy wants us to do the opposite.
just like you don’t need to eat bad food to be able to deal discern good food.
Jeremiah 12:5 NKJV
5 “If you have run with the footmen, and they have wearied you, Then how can you contend with horses? And if in the land of peace, In which you trusted, they wearied you, Then how will you do in the floodplain of the Jordan?
God wants to give us experience so that we can use our experience.
