* At a time like this, we are certain that no one has ever experienced the pain and helplessness we feel.
While it is true that no two people grieve in the same way, we can at least find some comfort in the knowledge that others have lost loved ones and can sympathize with us.
One such person was the patriarch Job.*
* It can be said of Job that he had it all.
Job had ten children, houses and lands, fields of cattle, servants and enormous wealth.
And then, in one day, he lost it all!
Not long after the deaths of his children, Job’s health failed him as well.
In the midst of his suffering, Job made a declaration of great faith and hope.*

There is a personal relationship between the two*

She inhabits a land where there is no sickness or sorrow - a place of unspeakable beauty and peace - a place of glad reunion and endless delight.
As much as Shirley loves each of you, she would not return even if it were possible.
The really good news is that each of us can join her there – by faith in Christ Jesus.*

Recall birthdays, anniversaries, vacations, Thanksgiving dinners and Christmases around the tree.
And don’t forget all the hugs and kisses and those tender moments that families share.*
