Introduction

God has Forgotten you!!!!
That what we all say as we wait for God
We wait and wait and wonder where He is.
God where are you! Why do you leave us here this long without showing yourself? We want to know this question. We want to know why when things are bad where God is.
God help me! Why have you forsaken me? Do you even remember me at all?
Zion (Jerusalem – the Christian nation) asked this question. Not only does Zion this question Zion makes the statement that the Lord has forsaken them. That not only has he forsaken them, he has forgotten them.
But, the Lord says wait and then he makes a promise:

I) The Promise of Unforgetfulness(V. 14-16)

His love is greater than that of a Mother for her child!
God asked the question: can a woman forget the child, that she has delivered, that she has known for 9 months in her womb. That child has been fed, diapered, bathed, loved, and cherished.
Can a woman forget that child?
Then God says: she may forget that child.
"Yet, I will not forget you.
I love you so much, that I have inscribed you on the palms of my hands.
Your walls, will always be before me. I will always protect you.
No matter whatever happens
no matter how slow things seem to be
no matter what, good or bad, Mountain or Valley, any evil in your life, I will always be with you!
I will never forget you
I will never abandon you
and when you think that I am far way look around as I am right here!
The mother may forget, but God will never forget!

II) The Promise of Increase (V. 17-20)

Your children those who carry on the family name, those who will continue the line will make haste to the great Zion.
Mother (Zion - Christians) will be like a bride to the Lord
It would be great if it was carried out that the "destroyers they that make way shall go forth of thee."
The churches that are plagued constantly with false doctrine, and false worship, worldly habits, which are misleading people just as the Pharisees did in Jesus day.
If the church was be delivered not from the enemies outside of it but from the enemies inside of it.
Those wolves in sheep's clothing
those that never accepted Jesus Christ and never understood what he done for us.
The ones inside the church that work so hard to destroy the church they will be separated and taken away.
What we need to understand is there is a great increase that will take place.
Not one or 2, not here they are, but 10, hundreds, thousands, and millions, will join us.
Every day we look at our church, and the churches around us.
We see pastors leaving the ministry by the thousands.
We see churches closing every month.
We think that represents the end.
But Jesus Christ said many will come there will be so many that the land will be full.
We need to be glad of it we need to expect them.

III) The Promise of Defeated Enemies (V. 21-26)
