Here in Chapter 3 we see Paul is done being nice about the lack of faith they have in Christ.
He is so baffled by this, he asked them if they have a curse on them that is causing them to think that way.
He starts asking them a series of questions to see what is going on.
Questions like: Did you receive the spirit by the works of the law or by believing what you heard?
Are you so Foolish? and on he goes then he goes in to Abraham and his sons and why they were blessed.
Often times as Christians we tend to over look some of the things that God is doing in our lives, when is reality God is always at work around us and is always waiting for us to join in on the Action.
What stops us from doing that?
How We Think
The thing that stops us is we often overlook the things that God is doing in our lives.
In a Sad Reality we tend to wait for someone else to get involved or we just pull the if I do not see what he is doing I do not have to get involved.
Example: you see when my 2 year old gets in trouble she started doing this thing where she closes her eye Because if she closes her eye we can not see her so she is not there.
therefore she cannot be in trouble.
How often do we do that to the work that God is doing in our lives.
We think if God cannot see us we do not have to start doing his work.
We all know that does not work but we still try to do it.
Even better then that how often do we go and say if we don’t go and look for the work of God we don't have to do it?
See that is what Paul is talking to the Galatians about they were doing what they were doing not because they thought lets do something we are not suppose to do.
rather than they were doing thinks that they assumed God wanted they to do.
They weren't looking to God for direction they were just doing what they assumed would be right because it was right for hundred of years.
They were striving to be like Abraham but without the direction of God.
How often do we look to God for what we are doing?
Looking to God
Now some of you might think I go to God everyday and think about him all the time.
There is a difference.
When you think of God that is like knowing that God is there in your mind.
When you are looking to God you are actively trying to serve God.
You are actively trying to find new way to be like Christ.
See we Christian succeed in thinking of God and talk about Serving God.
We Christian also fail in acting on serving God and Trusting him.
Example: Bibles in Schools
Attack on US by Iran.
See Abraham was always looking to God to find what is next for him to do, and when God spoke he didn’t just listen he acted on it.
Example: Sacrificing his own son.
We as Christians need to Stop talk about it and trust God to Get his will done.
What is next
Are you ready to start looking to God and trusting him?
