Zechariah 9:9–12 NIV
9 Rejoice greatly, Daughter Zion! Shout, Daughter Jerusalem! See, your king comes to you, righteous and victorious, lowly and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey. 10 I will take away the chariots from Ephraim and the warhorses from Jerusalem, and the battle bow will be broken. He will proclaim peace to the nations. His rule will extend from sea to sea and from the River to the ends of the earth. 11 As for you, because of the blood of my covenant with you, I will free your prisoners from the waterless pit. 12 Return to your fortress, you prisoners of hope; even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you.

1. Start your new season with rejoicing

The Bible commands us to, “Rejoice in the Lord always”
Weeping season is over, it is time to rejoice
Before the walls came down the children of Israel shouted
Start this season with a shout of victory
Know you King is victorious

2. Your new season is one of victory

Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty, freedom
You are free
The enemy lost his opportunity to destroy
You have been set free
The Blood of Jesus is for you
There is Power in the Blood

3. Time to get back to your Fortress

God is my fortress, an ever present help in time of trouble
Jonah realized that running from God is not beneficial
The prodigal son realized that life outside of His father’s house is no life at all
Jacob realized that running from your mistakes is a never ending run

4. Time to claim what you lost

Daniel 2:21 NIV84
21 He changes times and seasons; he sets up kings and deposes them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.
God has changed your season
You were in a season of mourning it is time to rejoice
ecc 3:1-
Ecclesiastes 3:1–15 NIV84
1 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven: 2 a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, 3 a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, 4 a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, 5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain, 6 a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, 7 a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, 8 a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace. 9 What does the worker gain from his toil? 10 I have seen the burden God has laid on men. 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end. 12 I know that there is nothing better for men than to be happy and do good while they live. 13 That everyone may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all his toil—this is the gift of God. 14 I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that men will revere him. 15 Whatever is has already been, and what will be has been before; and God will call the past to account.

5. You are in a season of Double

Look back 20 years
