Today's agenda is as follows. We're going to talk about what you're the good the bad the ugly ugly being on Harford. And what Sciences are coming up, which is The Hartford insurance and admit your conference. We're going to share with you the 2019 spending what did our church spin from January 1st to all the way till today yesterday? Cuz today is not as well as the good what the budget looks like for next year and I'm going to share with you on the calendar the report and then I'm going to ask you to evaluate me open late, right so that I can make some corrective changes on how I am governing the church. So please be thinking of that as you are. Contemplating as I mentioned the good the bad the ugly we have a $1,800 bill that's coming up in February on which is our insurance on the building insurance. And we also have the conference claim for mid-year conference. And so and that's coming up and I'll get to that in just a second to get thinking. How can you give more how can we do some fundraising to do cover those on the 2019 spending last year last year? Tri-City spent $3,000 or $2,199 in utilities. I am hoping to reduce the phone and internet access by either and I need your input on this by either eliminating the phone the office phone and just going with an internet service and using Google Voice to be our phone number wide. Why do that why I've been here since September 15th, and that's has ring twice. Why are we spending money on a phone that we're not using I give people my personal phone number all the time, and I don't have a problem with doing that.
We are looking at Google Voice for free service in the Google Voice allows me to creative a phone number have a connected to your phone. So that someone is typing a phone number but they don't necessarily have my personal cell phone and that's free. The other thing is the internet right now. The one that we have is extremely slow as you guys have witnessed in the last 3 months. I have elevated to technological footprint of Tri-City, which really doesn't mean that we should have a faster internet so that we don't have crashes in the middle of the service now. Also I would like to be able to rent out the war room in my office and possibly the community room to people who need some space to generate some income. We can't do that with a slow internet. So what is your thoughts about that?

Okay, cool, so, yeah, I will keep that up breast and that's really interesting thing and I will announce to the trustee is a little bit later but just kind of know that we're going to be investigating and seeing In practice, we spent $1,685 in taxes last year that property tax and Fire Prevention. The good news is both of those are paid get reduce it by $73 Wi-Fi scan it on time. If you pay a bill late is going to have late fee. We also reduced over a thousand because they actually sent me a bill that was doubled if you guys remember the last time France and they sent me a bill and praise God 2 weeks ago. I paid the bill so that so that we can get it done. Last year in the 2000-2019. We spent $4,726 on musician 3000 plus dollars to just the music director alone. The base-pair got $1,000 Plus in best musicians got $282.

You were supposed supposed to pay $4,132 and Reverend links for salary. However, Reverend Langford actually did not cash any of his salary check. Okay, so just kind of know that it's equal $2,200. There is a little snippet there at the end of the year riverlink would actually blessed two people at our conference with $2,200. So we still we still ain't that call. So K laughing he he has $1,590.43 of lodging and that was for annual conferences with conferences that he went and then Mills $338.
My budget has been I do not take a salary from this church. I will not take a salary until we have people coming in who are tithing and in pain offering and bringing up the church that is actually not a favorable thing for pastor to do because you're setting the next person who takes over as soon as Church off for fall. So just kind of know this that my salary is $50 per week. So, please please please Bishop sign assigned another passages. Sure. I hope you're not next year or couple years or 10 years and they don't do that is worthy of higher. I just an option not to because I really want to see the church financially. Okay, make sense guys. All right, I did spend $11.40 to Starbucks. I apologize. I did not get approval from anybody. But I did and then there was a team event where The Ash Family help sort for 3 hours the giving envelopes for the last 7 years. We literally spent three hours for those things and I could not just say, okay. Thank you so I can so that equals 25. Alright, let's talk about apportionment. I know that many of you guys are not a mere yet and can your you're going to start learning about these type of thing. But I wanted to educate you in a portion minutes is a salary allowance given to the presiding Elders who was my supervisor so that he is not an excuse for that. He is not encumbered by the financial concerns. Another word. We is is given portion responsibility of paying for his salary. Does that make sense? You know, we don't have to pay for all of his but we pay a portion of his salary so that he doesn't have to do a double stop like me like I work I work full time right but he doesn't have to do that. I want to share with you what you shared in the last year. $200 or $1,560. He was given an honorarium of total of $450, which is really preaching write when someone preaches you pay them money and then the love offering that I talked about with Reverend Rainsford salary half of that with two presiding Elder. So that's why he's so if you ever look at the book and go wait a minute if it really was half of Revelations. Praise God
Here's some really great news. Reverend Elder actually gave me a call 3 weeks ago and let me know that he is actually reduced from $130 a month to $52.50 a rounded up to $55 a month, but he has done it for this trip. And so that is a praise report. So we see him next month. Please tell him thank you. Okay, cuz he didn't he did not have to make sense. All right any questions on a fortunate?

You're not so fair Shares are what we pay help support six other larger communities in our in our district has different Ministries Solon women missionaries will a building with one of the church's building collapse. We gave $200 to help get it fixed the stereo Lions, which is ccma the local organization the California Conference local organization. Carry. One of the Premier Pastors in our district is running for really large office were helping him for help and support him and then are ushers. And so remember that we are part of Much larger Kirsten five people in the 64th Mason. We also help as we can and it's it's a blessing that as small as the strict is that were able to help whenever possible to share the responsibility of other Ministries babe. They come to our conferences and a blessed thing them. All right. So, how is it that world's largest denomination? We have 20 district for 13 Bishop. We are an organization are Church of 2.5 million. People are all the glow a man who are the largest Methodist Church in the world be proud of Amen. Okay. Does that make sense? All right. So so we are we help we help with giving assessments to the larger. A lot of people don't understand that they need jerk reaction to go. We have to give us a member. That's why I said, please please please understand when you become a member of the church. You become a member of 2.5 million people who are doing some powerful things for the Lord. The count it to you a man in the Lord a man. Yeah. It was somebody in Africa. It gets paid. That's what I want it to you cuz you're part of this organization consultation to church as part of which larger organization. We are blessed to give to the largest community to help that giving is called an assessment and I want you to know that word assessment because and I want you to have a positive connection rather than negative connection. To that. All right. So the annual conference last year. We pay Suite 3706 dollars in assessment fees of for at the end of the year in mid-year. We paid 1300 1300 $50 for the assessment going on. That's my plan this year is to make sure that the middle ear is played on time. We want God to show up on time. Can we can we not give to the church on time a man? All right, let's look at our giving and review. Tri-City last year, raise $22,000 in a little over $1,000 in in-kind offering what's an in kind of any kind offer is someone who says I just want to bless you with the Stevie. I don't want anything back. Can you go by the way that's easy is not in this number after the entire offering I needed to update. This is probably yes. What do you need to be? Okay, same back there people gave that chair in my office, you know something we went. Where do we go to get that year? I have no idea.

Here's what I Bank looks like right now. We have 3000 plus money in the checking account as of yesterday. Of course, I've written since this is what it looks like right now savings account. We have a $2,400 in the savings account as of yesterday. I want you all to know that I was working with me with the books in the books for a little bit out of order and she's gotten she is absolutely Titan the book up and so with your permission I would like to take her out to dinner, but that be okay because she's literally spinning 2230 hours. I've spent 30 hours a week alone and dumb and she spending just as much makes up.
Let's look at the any questions on our spending. I mean on our giving your tithes and offerings are important. Okay, if you have a job and you get a paycheck know that God tells you that you should give 10% of your earnings are gross earnings back to the church. Okay, if you're not doing that you're out of order of God now, that's not my words. I smile acai. Okay. Don't get mad at me a man. That's that's what my God. Yes. It will how in tithes and offering today. If you're wanting a blessing from the Lord, please don't Rob. When you don't support the church financially, that means that the lights can't stay on right if I didn't have a job. I would be home right? Does that make sense guy that makes him. So please please please please. It's not coming into my pocket. Amen.
So I've been working on the budget for the last six weeks and trying to get it to where is feasible. So by cutting out my salary by getting getting rid of the musician, you know by paying a little bit more on the bills that come through as I've tried to get a budget down to where we can really do something. Here's what it is in a year. We need to be in the next eight months. We need to make $13,903. Okay, that's going to be the end of our financial year. We've already been 3 months in Okay. So we've got 13. We got 8 months ago, and we need to make about $13,000 off of $14,000 - $1,737.88 a month or $434. $0.07 a week today we brought in $115. So we're already be home later. So that's what that's what I'm saying is better email or are we come up with fundraisers? I hate to do that when we can do calendar. One of the things that that I'm past due because we've got to cover the expenses a man. So I'm trying I'm trying to come up with things that we can do. I want to be a blessing spiritually to the church but also to do some fundraising amen. And so the winter Revival is the 24th, please please please please please get people to come with a man cry cuz I will do an offering and hopefully God blesses that way. All right, Black History Month doctor Reverend. Dr. Vernon bro come over and hopefully bring his church and in and I'll be a present there. So make sure that you're you're available for that. Then I was thinking of a summer Revival to want to do that but no one scheduled at this point. We want to make sure that we go to Guyton presiding Elder gaitas appreciation. He's also been going to Thanksgiving Day and on Christmas night as well women's ministry. Dorothy is out of out of town, but I think you guys last week and she still moving forward in getting together.

We're trying to return the updated to make sure that somewhere new people come in, but they don't have any jerk reactions to seeing things that are out of order. So we really have been working on just Making sure that the war room in my office is up to par right and then making sure the sanctuary looks nicely when you come through and then prayer evangelism. We've been going out and doing here Walsh Whodunnit deep cleaning in prayer and then we've done City teams went to Market Street where the Christmas caroling we've been busy. Amen, praise God and I thank you for getting used to being out in the community to know that try to be a part of that. We can pick you up from Oakland on Saturdays to help persons report. This is out of order. The property taxes paid fire prevention is paid on the lawn care person has been retired. I don't know that what he does, but no thank God strip Burns has agreed to do some volunteer work for you helping with the lawn and he's going to need all of our help to get out there and cut grass and Cliff and all that kind of stuff that good. Tri-City doesn't have a steward yet and I can't appoint a steward unless there's eligible members to become Elder is allow me to act as a steward which is out of order Village because that means that if if I'm doing books and all this I can spend as much time praying and being with a man. We have five to seven visitors to Plano what time of the month it is and then we have two families that separated one family has separated due to negligence of commitment and the other family decided to take their minutes to take their family.
