I was never the kid that wanted to see what I got for Christmas before the day. I never liked to have the surprise ruined. To this day, I don’t like to have surprises ruined. But, one year I accidentally found the stash. I admit I was a little disappointing that the surprise was ruined. I was now gonna have to act surprised like I didn’t know what was in the wrapping paper. All that, but one thing was for certain I knew what I had coming and I didn’t have to wait until I received it to rejoice about it. And now in retrospect, as I hear God speaking through that experience I see that God has promised his people many a thing but we don’t seem to understand that we can rejoice now and we don’t have to wait for it. God done some things worth praising him for, God has doing some things right now that you ought to magnify him for, but God is about to do something you should praise him for.

Mary’s soul magnifies the Lord. Everything that is in her rejoiced God her savior. There is no third party here. She is ecstatic, elated, and exuberant.
