You're lost. I really do is just a little bit differently today.

Weird things the work before Nathan can come to speak. We're going to sing a few more songs.

You know, sometimes I think these old hymns and I'm like, I guess you guys didn't have other things to do cuz like they go on forever, but that when I'm like I need about 8 more versus you know, I just like I feel like I'm just getting going to know when it's over. It's like 1841 surely we've had time to add a few verses to it. Somebody get on that. Well today we are having a Christmas service right or the Christmas stuff. And if you know me, well, you know, I'm not a huge fan of the season. I know I just I'm not a very good GIF person. I don't really want a whole lot and I can't think of what to get people. So it's tough for me, but that's okay. You can feel sorry for me later. We're going to talk about Jesus today and he is coming as a baby and you know, that was kind of a difficult thing. And yet his becoming one of us. Means that he is with us and I were told that he will be called God with us Emmanuel and it we're going to talk some about the mechanic stuff that how it is that he is with us because of his coming and so the big idea this morning is God's presence became human. So that we could receive his gift and we're going to unpack that of that sounds like an odd statement. Hopefully it'll mean more at the end than it does to you right now. When we talk about the coming of Christ in two of the Gospel speak of his birth and two of them don't one. That doesn't is the Book of John specifically, it doesn't say he was born in Bethlehem in and give us all the details and yet we're going to primarily take our texts this morning is going to be from John chapter 1 verses 9 through that 18 because there is a lot set their of his coming into the world and its significance of it. And so John says in John chapter 1 verses 9 and 10. He says the True Light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. He was in the world and though the world was made through him the world did not recognize him. A kind of a sad statement isn't it? You know that that there's something that we should perceive about God that we're blind to and there's something about the coming of Christ. It was so obscured to our vision our collectively humankind that you know, as we read in the in the other narratives that only a few people seem to even pick up on it and others had a hard time with it in general, right? There's something about God coming in this understated way right as this baby in a manger and we think about him and not only does he not received this Grand welcome, but he doesn't even receive a basic welcome, you know, he's away from his people and it's playing as he's in Bethlehem, and and he's now he's a stranger in this town. There's no place for him to stay and he's and he has to go out and and be born in the stable. and so there's just kind of tragic irony to the Christmas story where God comes in flesh and he is not noticed or acknowledged and he's even in many ways rejected and maybe we can get ourselves in a bit of a break for not noticing him you know when someone says Hey God came to town and you're like wow that's amazing what you know where is he always in the natal unit you know it at Washington Regional you know when God comes to town right you know there's fire and there's smoke and wind make this idea up You know God showed up like this, right and Deuteronomy 4 verses 11 through 18 is this you came near and stood Moses is recapping to the Israelites after their 40 Years of wondering what it happened and he says you came here and stood at the foot of the mountain while it blazed with fire to the very heavens with black clouds and deep Darkness. Then the Lord spoke to you out of the fire and you heard the sound of the words and saw no form. There was only a voice. He declared to you his Covenant The Ten Commandments which he commanded you to follow and then wrote them on to stone stone tablets in the Lord directed me at that time to teach you the decrees and laws. You were to follow in the land that you are Crossing Jordan to possess. You saw no form of any kind that day the day that the Lord spoke to you at Horeb out of the fire. Therefore watch yourselves, very carefully.

So that you do not become corrupt and make for yourselves and idle and image of any shape weather form like a man or a woman or any animal or on Earth or any bird that flies in the air or any creature that moves along the ground or any fish in the waters below and so, you know God is presented in scripture as a disembodied. If you will a spiritual being some manifestation of power and Aunt were even told not to represent him in any sort of human likeness. So maybe we can kind of give ourselves a break for not quite noticing when he came as a baby, right? It was it was a challenge but why did God do that? What what was to be gained by his coming in this way? John 1:11, we see something else. He says this he came to that which was his own but his own did not receive him. So in verse 10, we see that every person on the planet was created by this one who came and nobody on the planet recognized him, even though we all derive our origin from him that was tragic tragic was that he had selected a particular group of people. Right and that he had said these are really might these are my own people and here's why it was so tragic that we didn't recognize them was because those people who had received that heaven. It had been living with this one in their midst throughout their history. And I think that we missed that, you know, because I read about how the Jews didn't recognize Jesus and I think will Jesus do, you know, you need to get my break, you know, they were told that you were supposed to not look like a human being right? And here you are but Jesus calls them on the carpet and John chapter 5 verses 37 to 47. He says in the father who sent me has himself testified concerning me. You have never heard his voice nor seen his form nor does his word dwell in you for you to not believe the one that he sent you study the scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life and isn't that a mistake that we often met that we think that we can turn the Bible into a formula to earn ourselves eternal life and they had done that right? And he said that wasn't the reason you misused it. They're supposed to point to me and says, these are the very scriptures that testify about me yet. You can refuse to come to me to have life. I do not accept Glory from human beings, but I know you I know that you do not have the love of God in your heart. So I have come in the father's name and you do not accept me, but I get but if someone else comes in their own name, you will accept them and doesn't that happen all the time. Isn't that a sad statement on the history of religion for Millennia, right? How can you believe since you accept Lori from one another but do not seek the glory that comes from the only God do not think I will accuse you to the father. Your accuser is Moses on whom you have on whom your hopes are set if you believed Moses you would believe me for he wrote about me. And so Jesus is saying you know, I was waiting there. I was in that book. I was in those Scrolls that you have in that chest in your synagogue and you listen to you should have recognized me because I was there all along but since you do not believe what he wrote, how are you going to believe what I say? see we read that in Deuteronomy where he says don't make an image for yourselves. And I think that the emphasis there ought to be on the for yourselves. Did any attempt we make to depict God is going to be wrong. That doesn't mean that God has can't make an image for himself. We are if you look around the room, is it God made humans in His image? And God sent Jesus In His Image and Jesus Is Telling these people you guys should recognize me the Bible the book that you Revere has been talkin about me. I've been in it. What where is he in it? He said Moses talked about me. You should you should have listened to Moses in Exodus chapter 33 verses 2 through 3. God speaking here. He says I will send an angel before you to drive out the Canaanites and Mariah two Tides parasite invites and jebusites.

Go up to the land flowing with milk and honey, but I will not go with you because you are a stiff-necked people and I might destroy you on the way in so God Almighty always saying, you know, what's not safe for me to be in your midst. I'm going to send somebody else an angel to go with you. Now if we jump down two verses 12 through 16 Moses is having this conversation with god and Moses said to the Lord you have been telling me leave these people, but you have not let me know whom you will sit with me. You have said I know you by name and you have found favor with me.

If you are pleased with me teach me your ways so that I may know you and continue to find favor with you. Remember that this nation is your people the Lord replied get this my presence. Do you noticed that the capital p? My presence will go with you and I will give you rest. That he's speaking of a person who goes by the name my presence. So y'all way God the Father saying I'm personally not going with you. I'm going to send my messenger. He's going with you and Moses just that you haven't told me his name. How am I going to know who's going with me? And he says I'm okay. I'm telling you right now. Who it is. He is my presence. Then Moses said to him if your presence does not go with us do not send us up from here. How will anyone know that you were pleased with me and with your people unless who you go with? phimosis recognizes that this other person my presence is God and yet he's not the same person who said he's not going up with them. Do we get that? There's somebody there in Israel that there is a person who is God who his is going to move in with Israel and you want to know when when they built the Tabernacle right and you know who was living behind that curtain the presents. You want to know what the bread is called the fellowship Brad that set out on the on the table the golden table the bread of the presence. That there is someone who is called the present who is moving in Jesus when he comes and he talks to the Jews and he's like guys, it's me.

I've been right behind that curtain this whole time. It's me.

What else will distinguish me write this this person has been with Israel since even before this the first instance. I know of his back when Abraham and Hagar have a son Ishmael and Hagar is pregnant and Sarah's light get this lady out of here. She doesn't respect me anymore. Now that she's carrying the air and Abraham sends her away and Sarah treats her harshly and she runs away. And it says the angel of the Lord found Hagar near a spring in the desert and it was the spring that is beside the road to sure. And he said Hagar slave of Sarai. Where have you come from? And where are you going? I'm running away from my Mitch mistress. So sorry she answered. She gave this name if we skipped down as the chaises conversation with this being this person. She gave this name to the Lord who spoke with her who spoke with her the angel of the Lord. Who was he the Lord do we get that the Trinity is not a new testament concept. Do we get the God is three persons in one from Genesis?

It says the Lord who spoke to her she gave this name. You are the God who sees me. For she said I have now seen the one who sees me this same the angel of the Lord as soon as he's called is the one that stopped Abraham and said don't lay a finger on the boy right when he was going to sacrifice him to God. It's the same one that appeared in the burning bush to Moses and we're told the angel of the Lord spoke to Moses. And then later we're set what's her we're told that the Lord spoke to Moses and were told that the angel of the Lord was in the bush and they were told that the Lord was in the bush. Can I suggest to you that this fire that that does not consume but only gives light is the second person of the godhead.

That that we're told that that God the father is a fire that does consume. He says I'm not going with you because you're going to be incinerated in Jesus comes and says I am the light of the world you want to know how bushes on fire and does not burn up because the second person of the godhead. Is there the angel of the Lord

He should call the commander of the Lord's host. He met Joshua and Joshua chapter five right there on the on the plains of gilgal right outside of Jericho. And Joshua, he falls down before him and guess what this Angel of the Lord does not say stand up. He says you're in your right where you need to be as a matter of fact, you says take the shoes off of your feet just like he did at the burning bush for your on Holy Ground why cuz I'm standing here. The angel of the Lord has spent time with Israel had walked with Israel the angel of the Lord came and met Gideon that poor sucker his down in the winepress the rest in his grain because you didn't want to be seen by the midianites and you know who's waiting there under the terebinth oak just sitting there watching this coward. the angel of the Lord any citizen went when getting in finally notices that there's somebody sitting over there. He says hey you Mighty Man.

God has a sense of humor it would seem and and and and says what but you know, if you're really who you say you are because he didn't recognize that. He was anything resplendent. Okay. He says that then let me make you an offering and so it goes any any any Slaughters family brings that he says the answer the Lord has set it on that rock there and they until the Lord touch that was supposed to say things just burned up and the end of the Lord's gone and Gideon says I've seen God He's been there the whole time. And this this one who is the Angel of the Lord he comes as a man getting and did not recognize that there was something resplendent about this being or transcendent.

You member in Genesis chapter 32 when Jacob was at the end of his tether, and he was at the very lowest point in his life. And in God rather than comforting him picks a fight with him. And in any grab them any sister, Jacob was left alone and a man. Wrestled with him till Daybreak and when the man that saw that he could not overpower him. You see that God doesn't come like Hercules. He doesn't even come like a rama blue and big and stronger than everybody else. He's a man a man who cannot beat this old patriarch in a wrestling match. What did such a stretch for them to get that that God had come as a man? Shouldn't have been such a stretch for the Jews of Jesus day to recognize that God had come as a regular man who somebody could whip and over in a wrestling match.

Because this man cannot overpower him so he touched the socket of Jacob's hip and so that the hip was wrenched as he wrestled with the man. I want to know something else about this man this person. The man said let me go British Daybreak, but Jacob replied. I will not let you go. Unless you bless me and the man asked him. What is your name? Jacob he answered. Then the man said your name on the longer be Jacob but Israel because you have struggled with God and with humans and have overcome and I want to stop here and I want to make a an observation that names are very important. And he's saying what what kind of name did your family give you? Good say something about who you are. It's going to say something about your history. It's going to say something about the expectations that they had for you when you came into this world. What name? Did they give you Jacob? That means trickster the Seaver and he's saying you know what you've wrestled with me you wrestled with other people and I'm just going to declare you the winner right now. I'm going to name you Israel you prevailed. Guy names are important well. Since this man ask this is opponent his name. What is Jacob do? Jacob says, please. Tell me your name. since we're getting to know each other But he replied why do you ask my name? and then he blessed him there. And so Jacob called the place peniel saying it is because I saw God face to face and yet my life was spared. Jacob knew who he had an encounter with but I want to notice that there's a mystery surrounding the name of this one. He refuses to give it this isn't just happenstance because when we get over to judges then we find Manoa who is going to be Samson's dad and manoa's more Godly wife. I say that because this man only appears to her and never to him and only talks to her and even when he wants to know what the man said the man's like I told her At any rate Manila said to the angel of the lord, we would like you to stay until we're prepare young goat for you. Even the angel the angel the Lord replied even though you detain me I will not eat any of your food now get it again. This is somebody that can eat at least they think it is right, but if you prepare a burnt offering offering to the Lord Manoa did not realize that it was the angel of the Lord. Why not? He's a regular guy. Let me know I inquired of the Angel of the Lord. What is your name? So that we might may honor you when your word comes true. He replied. Why do you ask my name same response and then it goes a little farther and he says it is beyond understanding. I don't think they could have gotten it at that moment. I don't know if that would have all come together. Why because because name is have to have a backstory. For us, right?

In John chapter 1 verses 12 through 14 John says this yet to all who did receive him. Remember he said that they even his own didn't receive any says yet to all who did receive him who are those people I will tell you who those are you know, what we tell people receive the Lord you need to receive the lord. Well, we know exactly how to do it. He says to those who believe in what his name his name he gave the right to become children of God children born not a natural descent nor a human decision or a husband's will but born of God. The word became flesh. You want to know where this name came from the word became flesh. And made his dwelling among us and we have seen his glory the glory of the one and only son who came from the father full of grace and truth. How can we receive a person by believing in his name because a person's name incapsulate their identity. And when we have their name we gain them right with Christ and so the word became flesh. And so, you know just as when we have a child and what do we do? We're slapping name on I'm right.

So did get it. So did the parents of the presents?

On the 8th day when it was time to circumcise the child. He was named Jesus. The name of the angel had given him before he was conceived and let's go back Luke chapter 1 verses 32 33. The angel of the Lord said to her of angel said to her do not be afraid Mary you have found favor with God you will conceive and give birth to a son and your to call him Jesus. He will be great. He will be called son of the most high God the Lord. God will give him the Throne of his father David and he will reign over Jacobs descendants forever his kingdom will never end. Isn't that a wonderful promise? Why Jesus? Well, if you haven't heard me say this before we haven't studied is Jesus is the English pronunciation of the Greek e Asus. Jesus is the Greek pronunciation of the Hebrew Yeshua. Which is Joshua as we see in the Bible. And so this name is not just happenstance, you know for us we're kind of like this name was very important that he would receive it. Not remember it was kept a mystery, but I will tell you that God toward the end of the Old Testament begin to give us some hints as to what that name would be in Zechariah Chapter 3 Verse 8. It says listen high priest Joshua you and your Associates seated before you who are men's symbolic of things to come. I'm going to bring my servant the branch do you get this? He speaking to a man named Joshua who is the high priest at the time after the Captivity? And he's saying your symbolic of somebody else who's to come somebody who is my servant somebody who is the branch now if we get over to Zachariah chapter 6 verses 11 through 14 is his take the silver and gold and make a crown a two-part crown and set it on the head of Joshua the son of Joseph the high priest now here's there's something very wrong with this picture. You want to know what it is cuz the priests can't be the king in the king can't be the priest Israel had a very clear notion of separation of church and state. Nobody can bear the double anointing. Somebody will always abused that much power if if somebody has the right to rule over your spiritual life and enforce it with physical power. That's too much. Do we get that and so those are separate and yet telling Zechariah make the crown make a king's crown and set it on the high priest. Wow, this is a massive shift in Israel's history. It's a massive shift in their politics. Tell him this is what the Lord Almighty says. Here's the man whose name is the branch member. He symbolic for the branch. His name is the branch. Do we get that? And he will Branch out from this place who will the branch and build the Temple of the Lord. He's going to build the temple, but it's not going to be in Jerusalem. It's going to be all over the world.

Right it is he who will build the Temple of the Lord and He will be clothed with Majesty like a king. And we'll sit and rule on his throne a priest on his throne.

And there will be Harmony between the two. now that's not Joshua the synergos a deck. That's the one for whom he is symbolic because it says the crown will be given to Hell die tobijah Jedidiah and him the sons of Zephaniah. This Crown is not going to sit on Joshua the son of Jose attack at it's going to be briefly set there for a prophetic message. Then it's going to be taken off and hung on the wall to wait for the one to whom it belongs. And so God is giving us this hint this notion. Who's the one to come? It is Joshua Yeshua or Jesus Jesus our lord?

Moses says this

In Deuteronomy, 18:15 the Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you from your fellow Israelites. You must listen to him. Well, isn't that wonderful. God wasn't going to leave them without a Moses. Right? And so Joshua the son of nun becomes the successor in Deuteronomy 34 9 through 10. Now Joshua the son of nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom because Moses had laid his hands on him. I thought we see his successor, right? He's the prophet to come isn't he? So the Israelites listen to him and did what the Lord had commanded Moses?

And yet we see the next verse since then. No Prophet has risen in Israel like Moses. in the Lord new face-to-face many scholars believe that that this was written significantly later obviously saying since then maybe his latest as the writer of Chronicles, which is saying now, Bet that profit to come wasn't Joshua the son of nun. As a matter of fact, it hadn't come all the way to the time of the divided Kingdom that profit to come. But I will tell you that it would be a Joshua. Because in John chapter 1 verse 18, no one has ever seen God but the one and only son who is himself God and is in closest relationship to the father has made him known you want to know where Joshua the son of nun fell short. He wasn't in the intimate relationship with God that Moses was None of the prophets were except for this one. Who comes and is himself God and is in the closest relationship with the father? And this what's so cool about this is that this Joshua the successor of Moses just Moses's underling he's not next best to Moses. He's supersedes Moses. He supersedes everybody that came before just because he comes after doesn't mean that he's less than and that's what John says in John John the Baptist in John chapter 1 verse 15 John testified concerning him Jesus testified concerning John saying nobody who was born of woman is greater than John the Baptist now, here's John the Baptist. Who's the greatest to be born? Who says he cried out. This is the one I spoke about when I said he who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me. and so Joshua

the one to come

Jesus comes in the prophetic tradition

remember Elijah Elijah the prophet probably the most notable among the prophets. It's the one the Israelites look two. It's the one in whose spirit and power that John the Baptist came in right? His successor Was Elijah now, there's a difference between the ministry of Elijah and Elisha catch on fire around this guy, right and stuff rocks and water wooden bowls and an army man and all that stuff that boom right? I want different he comes in and it's like the stew taste bad Paul's better. Now the water is wrong but taste good again. I lost an axe head that I borrowed will hear it. Mideast doing these things that are just nice. You know that everything you did was nice like when he had all those kids killed by the bear, but that we'll talk about that later about the concerns of human life. Why is Jaws like boom, you know? There's a reason for that and that is because there are two major lessons that we need to learn about God lesson 1 is that y'all way is God. He's not to be trifled with us or touches the the box and he he's right. That's as the you know, I mean, he's not to be messed with God will be held. Holy Nativity by you offered Strange Fire Bone. They're gone Don't Mess With God. And that's what it Elijah's name means y'all way is God. We better not get that wrong. He is Holy. He's not the man upstairs. He's not some friend up in high places. We better get that. He's holy. He's not to be trifled with we've got to get that is less than 1 are we know nothing about God at all? And that was Elijah's Ministry get it. Elisha comes and he shows us another side. He shows us that God Saves but this one who will not be trifled with who is transcendent. Who is utterly. Holy is he able to take care of our needs? There's a problem isn't it? If each of these messages can get in the way of each other if I believe God is Holy. I'm not going to call on him to give me my axe head back when it when I lose it. But if y'all don't be giving me my ex had bad like back I could start thinking he's a butler. Right until these guys are they had to separate Ministries so that we could learn these lessons about God independently, right? Go back to John chapter 1. Out of his fullness. We have all received Grace in the place of Grace already given for the law was given through Moses Grace. That's that God Saves. side and truth. That's that Yahweh is God side came through Jesus Christ. But he is the unifier that he is the full revealer of God. No one has ever seen God but the one and only son who is himself in the closest relationship with the father has made him known. We see someone is full of grace. Cleanses the leper who's a friend of sinners who exonerates the adulteress. caught right in the act Grace and we see a god of Truth to whom Peter said just leave me I can't be around you. I am a sinner.

That embodied in this name Jesus whose names are just containers for ideas. Embodied in the name. Jesus is Grace and Truth all together.

Remember Elijah's name meant y'all way is God you remember that Elijah's name means God Saves what happens when you put those names together you get y'all Way saves. What does Joshua mean Yahweh saves?

That's his name. It's what he wants us to know. It's what he spent thousands of years preparing us to receive so that in a moment when he comes as a baby he has that name. Now you can be given a pretty impressive name and not live up to it, right?

Jesus is given this name. Matthew chapter 1 verses 18 to 21. This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about his mother. Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph. But before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the holy spirit because Joseph her husband was faithful to the law and yet did not want to expose her to Public Disgrace. He had in mind to divorce her quietly and after he had consider this the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream Joseph son of David do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son and you are to give him the name Jesus why because it was the name that was prepared for him thousands of years ago also because he will save his people from their sins.

What is the name do? It tells us who somebody is doesn't it? If you want to get to know somebody right to kids on the playground, you know kids don't quite get this. Hey, you want to be friends? Runaway, hey friend. What are we say? What was his name? Weiner stand that and when God says I have want you to know me. Is this is my name right when he says I want you to call on me. This is my name.

And so if we're going to believe in the name. the son of God we got understand what that name means right and it means you always saves and so Jesus went on to fulfill that name in Philippians chapter 2 verses 5 through 11 in your relationships with one another have the same mindset as Christ Jesus who being in very nature. God did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own Advantage rather. He made himself Nothing by taking the very nature of a servant being made in human likeness and being found in appearance as a man. He humbled himself by becoming obedient to death even death on a cross therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him what the name. That is above every name. You want to know how powerful that name is in Romans chapter 10 verses 9 and 10. He said was finishing Philippians 2 that the name of Jesus every knee should bow in heaven and on Earth and under the Earth and every time we acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father Romans 10 9 + 10, if you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you will be saved for it is with your heart that you believe in or Justify and it is with your mouth that you profess and are saved. A little a few versus later Paul quotes. I can't remember in scripture of a dke quotes and says everyone that calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. You want to know what the name of the Lord is? It is Jesus the Christ. Sewing John chapter 1 verse 16 out of his fullness we receive now when we think about salvation, I I think we often think well that means God just yanked us at it from the flames and he put us up on the Shelf wrong. It's so much more. What did we get? His fullness? We got what he has. We got what he's full of. Out of his fullness. We received the names mean access.

Why else would someone steal someone's identity?

Right. I have someone's name. I'm I might be able to have what they have. That's why we steal it every credit card and debit card on the planet has one feature on the front. Your name here? Right with the name of Christ. We have been given access to his fullness. John chapter 14 verses 12 through 18 in since very truly. I tell you whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing and they will do even greater than these because I am going to the father and I will do whatever you ask in my name. So that the father may be glorified in the son. You may ask me for anything in my name and I will do it if you love me keep my commands. And I will ask the father and he will give you another Advocate to help you and to be with you forever.

the spirit of Truth the world cannot accept him because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, how do we know him? Because we know his name right before he lives with you in Jesus and he will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans. I will come to you. You see that one who was the president for Israel is still the present for us? Except he's not behind a curtain. He's in our hearts. He's in our lives. He's in our homes. He throughout our day and his name is Jesus.

And so the the big idea is that God's presence became human so we could receive his gift. During this time of year. We use the word piece a lot. Don't we? And we throw around the word Joy a lot. Can I suggest to you that neither peace nor Joy are available in this season?

Maybe stress maybe some disappointment. Peace and joy are available in the one who came as a child. You want peace and joy, you want his gift. It's not going to be found under a tree. Not going to be found in a reef. John chapter 14 reading on and verse 25 14 25 to 27 all this ice spoken while I was with you but the advocate the Holy Spirit whom the father will send in my name will teach you all things and we'll remind you everything I have said to you. Peace. I leave with you my peace I give to you I do not give to you as the world gives do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. You want to know where Joy comes from John chapter 16 verses 22 through 24. So with you now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice and no one will take away your joy. In that day, you will no longer ask me anything very truly. I tell you my father will give you whatever you ask in my name until now you have not asked for anything in my name ask and you will receive and your joy will be complete. Now here's the takeaway from this morning.

You ever watch a little baby on their first Christmas? I member when Caleb he was arguing all this now. First give me a present, right?

They think that is pick up shiny paper in a box.

I'm afraid many of us are like that, baby.

We're like, yeah Jesus.

We have not yet understood. The unfathomable and Limitless wealth that is right under the surface. Realize that we have been given access that God has spent thousands of years to give himself to us.

I believe in his thing. That's a message for this morning. John's got a video that we're going to listen to / watch going into communion. Where you going to do anything to set it?
