Theme: God's covenant with David. Jesus’s throne is an eternal one. He is reigning now, he is reigning forever. We must study king David for all other reigns are too small. We were born God’s enemies but when Jesus invaded our world, he came to destroy our enemies and to win us over because he loves us. He wants to conquer our hearts. So when we come to Christmas, the question is, have we let the king come into our hearts? Have we given him the throne?
