When God breaks in, He reveals himself

When this happens, we are able to better know the character of God

Moses learned that God’s qualities are both majestic and personal

Holy ()

God of your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, & Jacob

Creative ()

Creator of the universe

All-knowing, including Moses

Knows what is going on with the Israel

Knows Moses, location, occupation, strengths, weaknesses, fears

Advent is a majestic event, but it is also deeply personal

In knowing that God has seen and heard the Israelites, we can know that he hears us (3:7-10)

Knows what is going on with the Israel

God knows the cries of your heart, even if you don’t think he is listening

When we speak of Jesus’ advent, then, we also know the purpose of his coming
