The church was praying. Fervently means to stretch a muscle to it’s absolute limit. They were praying for Peter to the limit of their human ability. This was sacrificial prayer. It cost them sleep. It cost them meals. It cost them work. It cost them time. It cost them comfort. Our prayer service is on Wed. night at 6pm. We eat before we pray. The room is warm. Some of the chairs are padded. It will cost you time, some comfort. Will you make this small sacrifice to be here?
