Our spring Communion Season begins on 6th March. Among those we hope to have sharing with us from God’s word are the Rev Paul Amed, the Rev Iain Murdo Campbell and the Rev Dr Wayne Pearce the new minister of the High Church in Stornoway. The Presbytery are offering safeguarding training for all church volunteers/ co-ordinators/ Officebearers. More details as soon as we have them. Covenant Fellowship At our meeting on Wednesday evening 18th March the Kirk Session discussed and decided to sign up to the Covenant Fellowship statement. The Covenant fellowship is committed to continuing to work together for the renewal and reform of the Church. This is a means by which we as a Congregation and as individual members and adherents within it can register our protest at the direction that the church is taking, without taking the step of actually leaving the church as others have done. Copies of the Covenant fellowship statement are available at the door that gives full information as to the aims and objectives of the Covenant . There is also a petition at the door that allows us to register our protest by signing up in support of the Covenant Fellowship .
