Are you Ashamed

2 Timothy 1:8 CSB
So don’t be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, or of me his prisoner. Instead, share in suffering for the gospel, relying on the power of God.
have you ever Felt Ashamed, it does not have a very good feeling
how many times do show being ashamed of church.
Paul is talking to Timothy here about not being afraid of what he believes in and to be willing to share the Suffering to other and relay on God.

Suffering

James 1:2–6 CSB
Consider it a great joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you experience various trials, because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its full effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing. Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God—who gives to all generously and ungrudgingly—and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith without doubting. For the doubter is like the surging sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
Here we see James talking about we should be handling our trials with joy.
we should consider it joy when we suffer from things in our lives. How many times in our lives do we feel like we are suffering from something that we just want to give up.
Example: parents fighting, friends, girlfriends, Temptations.
Have you ever felt Ashamed of God because of the suffering that is in your life.
have you ever wanted to turn away from God because of the suffering you have face.James is talking on how to take that suffering and turn it in to faith and to use it to add to your Testimony and trust in Gods power.

The Power of God

We hear about the power of God all time. have you ever seen it though, it happens more often then we think in our lives.
throughout the bible we see stories of Gods power
Example: walls of Jericho, Sodom and Gamore, the whole story of Job, Jesus raises the dead, Jesus raises from the dead.
How often do we see it in our lives daily. we as Christians fail everyday when we choose to get in to the pain and suffering instead of using it for Christ.
We are missing a Whole Generation in the church all because we choose to do it by ourselves instead of trusting God can help us.
what do we do about it
