God Lets us Experience Grace in Christ; v.14, 16

Christmas is a time of Grace; hopefulness.
mi: Are you experiencing Grace? Grace is what we say is offered in the Gospel.
Christ is the giver of Grace.
Full of Grace and Truth.
Grace in the place of Grace. (“…too much grace...”; Doesn’t mean don’t redeem a problem. Redeem it with Grace.)
mi: Are you experiencing Grace? Grace is what we say is offered in the Gospel.
Because God is gracious, you are experiencing Grace...
Common goodness.
Peace. Provision.
Love. Beauty.
Purpose
But to know Christ is more grace.

Grace Lets us Experience God in Christ; v.17-18

If the world could figure out who God is, we’d have the ‘Perfect.’ We’d have Grace!
Plato’s Forms? Aristotle’s Unmoved Mover? Or Jesus Christ!
Grace let’s us experience God in Christ.
Special goodness.
Peace; Shalom. Provision; when I’m empty.
Love; unconditional. Beauty; Glory!
There is only one way to this grace!
Christmas is a time to experience God; Incarnation.
Keller: Not Eastern. Not Western. Logos! Homoousios!
“Seen God”
mi: If you’re experiencing Grace, it is because Jesus offers overflowing Grace.
Grace reveals God — The Perfect — in Christ.
The Law does not reveal Christ (). Grace reveals Christ.
— What did “His own people” know? They knew Moses! —
— You know ‘Moses’ too. The world lives according to ‘Moses.’ —
Your Law leaves you feeling unfulfilled; always guessing.
How to quit an addiction: “You’ve identified...”
mi: Are you experiencing Grace? Grace is what we say is offered in the Gospel.
God’s Law becomes even more impossible.
Law reveals your need for something. Christ is that relief.
mi: Are you experiencing Grace? Grace is what we say is offered in the Gospel.
— You KNOW you need Grace. —
Are you experiencing Grace? Or drama?
… Grace? Or fear?
… Grace? Of fighting?
mi: Are you experiencing Grace? Grace is what we say is offered in the Gospel.
— Grace comes from Jesus. —

Gospel:

Grace let’s us experience God in Christ. Ought to be terrified…
God let’s us experience Grace in Christ. … and then, grace.
Grace for your sin.
Grace let’s us experience God in Christ.
Grace for your sin, yesterday.
mi: Are you experiencing Grace? Grace is what we say is offered in the Gospel.
Grace for ...
‘Sing’ Grace.

Application:

What Grace are you asking for? What Christmas Miracle do you need?
