Cooler Creates Environment for Dead Baby To Come Back To Life

Topics:  Miracles; Abortion; Doctors; Mothers Day; Christmas Day;

A baby girl weighing only about 1.5 pounds was pronounced dead on August 18, 2008, the same day doctors at Western Galilee hospital in northern Israel performed an abortion on her because the baby’s mother was bleeding internally. Presuming the baby dead, they put her in a refrigerator.

Instead of the refrigerator serving as a stopping point before a trip to the morgue, it served as an incubator for at least five hours. When the baby’s parents got ready to take the baby to be buried, Mom, Faiza Magdoub said, “We unwrapped her and felt she was moving. We didn’t believe it at first. Then she began holding my mother’s hand, and then we saw her open her mouth.”

The low temperature inside the refrigerator probably slowed down the baby girl’s metabolism allowing her to live, according to Motti Ravid, a professor of internal medicine.

This baby is the first baby to come back to life from a freezing state. Sad to say, she was resurrected for less than 24 hours.

God is full of surprises. This baby girl is one of them. Doctors at Western Galilee hospital are having trouble explaining the situation. At least one of the doctors, Moshe Daniel, is calling this baby girl a miracle.

The things that seem impossible to us are not impossible for God. The doctors are like the disciples who were shocked that rich people would not be able to buy their way into heaven. When asked who could be saved, Jesus responded in Matthew 19:26 (Amplified Bible) by saying, “. . . With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
