Introduction

We are fast approaching the end of the 2019 liturgical calendar year next Sunday celebrating the Solemnity of Christ the King. And all things end well with Jesus Christ Amen? But not without perseverance.
Some one said at the end everything will be great and if it is not getting better it;s not the end.

Body

Body

In the Gospel we just heard Jesus is describing the events that preceded the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem 70 AD, and possibly is foretelling the great difficulties humanity will face specially Christians again before his second coming at the end of time. “By your perseverance you will secure your lives.”
Necessity to pray always without becoming weary.
testing of your faith produces P, and let P be perfect so that you be perfect lacking nothing.

Conclusion

Conclusion

Let us keep persevering relying on the promises of Jesus to give us his strengths and wisdom in in doing good deeds of mercy and love, to perseveres at our Jobs, whit difficult management and co workers, ask the lord to help us carry the heavy burdens of earning a living, to be able to give testimony to the truth of the Gospel and Church teaching in a world that forces us to celebrate gay marriage and transgender identity politics and accept abortion on demand. Why? Because Jesus has promised that by our perseverance we will secure our lives, and for those who persevere on day there will arise a sun of justice with healing rays.
