Introduction

I. Jesus is the central truth.

The Bible teaches the exclusivity of Christ as the means of salvation. For example:
Jesus said “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
“Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”
Peter said of Jesus, “…there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
We need the gospel to cleanse our sins. No amount of good works can undo past sin.

II. Beware false teachers.

III. Beware false discipleship.
