INTRODUCTION:
In this Thanksgiving season, we have many gifts from God that we can be thankful for.
There is one gift that surpasses all others.
The apostle Paul speaks of this gift in our text.
Jesus also spoke of this gift in John 3:16.
What makes this gift so amazing?
I. THE GENEROUS GIVER OF THE GIFT MAKES IT WONDERFUL.
“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”
(John 3:16)
A. He is the Lord of creation.
(Genesis 1:1)
(Colossians 1:16 – 17)

In all of his busyness, he has time and concern enough to offer us his greatest gift.
B. He is the offended one.
(Psalm 51:4)

All sin is against God.

THE GREAT SCOPE OF THE GIFT MAKES IT WONDERFUL.
