We may all struggle with what a spirit walk looks like.
How do we know? What is different?
It may be difficult but it can be easy with the right approach.
Transformation comes about when we walk in Christ.
GOD: ILLUMINATION (THE GOAL IS TO RESOLVE THE TENSION

I. The love Christ compels me

14 For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died;

act of giving himself in death for the benefit of “all” certainly constitutes Christ’s expression of love.

II. Live for Christ

15 and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised.
Because one died for all yes we have died with Christ. This comes about by receiving him as Savior and then turning are lives over to Christ.
Because we have given our life over to Christ we are no longer are own.
We no longer belong to ourselves we belong to Christ. What does that mean.
It is no longer about me it is about Jesus. we do not live for the me we live for thee.
This is what salvation truly means. We give are lives over to Chris, repent , receive, believe and live for Christ.

III. regard no one in the flesh

16 From now on, therefore, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh, we regard him thus no longer
Spirit walking looks beyond the Physical to the spiritual.
a. everything has a spiritual purpose and if not why are we engaged in it.

of believers now living for Christ: “So, from this point on, we don’t understand anyone from a worldly perspective.” The verb translated “understand” (οἶδα, oida) has to do with “having information about” or “knowing” something

IV. WE ARE A NEW CREATION

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

[5:17] The ὥστε (hōste, so that) clause at the beginning of verse 17 stands in parallel with the ὥστε clause in verse 16, both of which follow from the idea that those who are now alive in Christ no longer live for themselves:

καινός (kainos). adj. new. This is a general word for “new.”

Paul does not use expressions for “born again” or “rebirth,” but he uses conceptually similar expressions for “new creation” and “new human being.” A Christian is a “new (kainos) creation (κτίσις, ktisis)” (2 Cor 5:17; Gal 5:17); the phrase can also be translated “new creature.” Similarly, a Christian is to take off the old human being, to be renewed (ἀνανεόω, ananeoō) in mind, and to put on the new (kainos) human being (ἄνθρωπος, anthrōpos), “who is created in righteousness and holiness from the truth” (Eph 4:22–24); Col 3:9–10 has similar phrasing but with the word νέος (neos, “new”) instead of kainos and the word ἀνακαινόω (anakainoō, “to renew”) in place of ananeoō. God’s renewal of all things through Christ goes beyond the creation of a renewed humanity; he promises a new (kainos) heavens and new (kainos) earth (2 Pet 3:13; Rev 21:1).

V. RECONCILED ,RECONCILIATION

18 All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 that is, in Christ God was reconciling[c] the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation
