Good morning. Church. You have the iPad.

Thank you so much for returning after we're finished is going to see into the CD underbelly of slide management. This iPad does the trick but stuff to the underbelly. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning, Randy Bruce. Again. This is Hebrews 9 talking about Jesus. The great sacrifice will read it here in a bit and then we'll pray and I'll talk about it. If you're following along in your ear doing a study yourself and parallel. We have a small group that meets out of a book that's called like a christ-centered exposition of hope I think of her books and take it apart. This chapter gets three chapters in that book several Pages. It's pretty complicated and I'm going to try to do it in like 45 minutes or less or your next sermons free. This cake actually will be free.

Yep, that's fair. Right some of these chapters are a little bit tricky, but there's a lot of great stuff in a small groups as well about how he Brews is it at someone and exceptional booking at every chapter? Like actually look for a quick one class. It's like the Hebrews 1 and then there for chapter 2 starts with their 4 and chapter 3 starts with there for and then there for then for now and therefore a constant building from one chapter the next it's it's pretty extruder in that regard. So lots of references back and end because of that with with us, maybe some context mapping like a tricky. So here we go. Let's go ahead and dive in here Hebrews 9 follow along if you got your bibles. If not, it's up on the screen. Feel free to read along with me up there. Even the first Covenant had regulations for worship and unearthly place of holding us for a tank was prepared the first section which were the lamp stand in the table in the bread of the present. It was called The Holy place behind the second curtain for the section called the most. Holy Place having the golden altar of incense in the Ark of the Covenant covered on all sides of gold in which was a golden urn holding a man and Aaron's staff that budded and the tablets of the Covenant above it where the cherubim of Glory overshadowing The Mercy Seat of these things. We cannot now speak in detail his preparations having this been made the preschool regularly into the first section for poor performing a ritual duties, but end of the second only the high priest goes and he he but once a year and now without taking blood which he offers for himself and for the unintentional sins of the people By this the Holy Spirit indicates that the way into the holy place is not yet opened as long as the first section is still standing, which is symbolic for the present age. According to this Arrangement. Give some sacrifices are offered that cannot perfect the conscience of the worshipper, but deal only with food and drink and various Washings regulations for the body and posed until the time of reformation. But when Christ appears as a high priest of the good things that have come then through the greater and more perfect 10 not made with hands that is not of this creation. He entered once for all into the holy places not by means of the blood of goats and calves but by means of his own blood the securing an eternal redemption or if the blood of goats and Bulls and the sprinkling of defile persons with the ashes of a heifer sanctify for the purification of the flesh how much more will the blood of Christ who threw the eternal spirit offered himself without blemish to God. conscience from dead Works to serve the Living God Therefore he is the mediator of a New Covenant so that those who are called. They receive the promised Eternal inheritance since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first Covenant where will involve the death of the one who made it must be established or will takes effect only at death since it is not enforced as long as the one who made it is alive. Therefore not even the first Covenant was inaugurated without blood on every command of the law have been declared by Moses to all the people. He took the blood of cows and goats with water and Scarlett will and hyssop and sprinkle both the book itself and all the people saying this is the blood of the Covenant that God commanded for you in the same way. He sprinkled with the blood both the tent and all the vessels used in worship indeed under the law almost everything is purified with blood and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins. That's it was necessary for the copies of the Heavenly things to be purified with these rights, but the Heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these for Christ has entered not into holy places made with hands with your copies of the true thing, but into heaven itself now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf. Nor was it the offer himself repeatedly as the high priest enters the holy places every year with blood not his own or then he would have had to suffer repeatedly since the foundation of the world. But as it is he has appeared once for all until the once for all at the end of the ages to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself and just as it is appointed for man to die once and after that comes judgment, so Christ haven't been offered once to Bear the sins of many will appear a second time not to deal with sin, but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him. Perfect, please. Heavenly Father complicated versus Sunbird are complicated versus comprising perhaps e a chapter that maybe feels a lot more. Past and present Lord and I pray Lord that as we dive into this today Lord that my words not be my own but they that you'll speak through me the holy spirit will be active in this room taking these words and and and and jamming them into our hearts and our minds and in a way that you would have us understand the Lord make yourself known make yourself present Lord. We are so thankful for your word and very very very thankful for an opportunity to study this morning. I think of something I pray. Amen.

All right. Brookside note the slide was done already and Lea said I know a song that starts with Jesus three times and it's the the first time we seen today there's something about that name Jesus Jesus Jesus. I mean this Hebrews Focus has a lot on Jesus has repetitive but it's not as we've gone through these chapters and he keeps comparing Jesus to these various aspects of judaic worship at the time. The whole point of this is not to say and again, he's a still a high priest and that's Japanese a high priest little by little what we're trying to do. Here is show how Jesus was represented throughout every single aspect of their worship. And this is a big chapter in that most of this notion hear about blood priesthood the order of operations and it comes to Tabernacle would have been very very Fresh to the people he was talking to but maybe not so much for us. So as we go through today we're going to try to do is connect some of the kind of Mosaic law principles that he's talking about specifically with things that we could have it all rolling as you might suppose, you know, you might expect us quite a bit of that. So we don't necessarily struggle Judas. I know I don't first. I can't speak for everybody in here. But we do struggle with idolatry, right and basically talking about here is idolatry. Do you put Great Value in these things that aren't God and you put them over God that's idolatry simple. In the statement. Hebrews is not about putting Judaism second. It's about putting Jesus first. So he's talking a lot about Judaism but it it's not to relegate and demote Judaism is still promote price. We know this because the book applies to us so well and we aren't Jews. I'm not I don't really like I said I can speak for everybody but I didn't come from a Jewish background and then realize that Jesus was the Messiah and then convert to Christianity. This is where I started. But it wouldn't matter what religion you're talking about. Right? If in this case this is a religion of a dictator to come in and dictated by God and we see that God perfectly represented Christ, but whatever it is Jesus first. . Tabernacle, it is a great long explanation about this here. It's been hinted at in Pryor chapters as well and it just goes and goes and goes so we don't necessarily bring it up. We don't talk about it very often the Jews. We've been very familiar with this idea. It was critical to the way they conducted their daily lives in many regards right here because I think this is important we talk about the Tabernacle versus maybe our church or the Catholic church or any other New Age religion and constructs there in this is God's commandment. He gave this to Moses actually reading our small group today my back to Exodus several chapters describing with great specificity. What makes the Tabernacle Tabernacle how to do it how to build it out of what material is exactly. How much is no messing around God gave this commandment. Unlike our thing where we don't have we didn't at least I didn't receive a revelation about the dimensions of this building and materials with which to construct it to glorify God. We build a building. This is all us in this they have the added complexity that what they have done is from the Lord, right if we had a book of the Bible that describe how to build this building. It would be a lot tougher perhaps to talk about the building not being The building won't save us well, and you said God loves us. That's the problem. They've got some of the details of this Tabernacle have some pictures here, hopefully, but I can read some of the stuff. So this is the the Tabernacle of Moses and in Tabernacle in this representation is It's not like we would know something of a tabernacle. It's basically a lot of big fence that's built out of some stuff. And then inside that area is the courtyard and everybody can hang out in the courtyard. And then there's these two areas inside the smaller tent the most holy place in the Holy place and inside there are these various artifacts that are Very is covered in great depth in Exodus. This is the way it would have looked to some degree lampstands table of showbread and alter holy place. He's going in there. There's garments. I had to wear made a very specific way a Cadence what they had to do. There's no messing around. Let me go inside that 10. This is what we see.

All these numbers. This has been the word 20 gold hoverboards here 6 boards over there to go or corner boards Veil The Veil that we hear about Jesus tearing that's on four pillars that have Silver Base is the outer Veil that put that comprises the entrance into the holy place has five pillars. This is an arbitrator materials to do for post inside. So we did it now got to do it this way. They did it. We look at this and you're he's speaking to the Jews about this they'd say right sure. So the most holy place I proof. You know, we're only that's that's the high priest gig and that's once a year this outer. Are you hear what we're looking at here this whole entire screen. If you weren't a priest you don't go here under any circumstances and you think I can watch while I can go there you can go to this side on the right if you were priests, but only the high priest can go to this area on the left and he can only go once a year. That's it. When we did I look at these people really up to no good. See you next year, right? Cuz that's it. There's no emergency second visit if somebody really screwed up bad once a year. What is a very limiting factor right when you talk about the presence of God in a place that one person can visit once a year and the outer area that leads into that area. I mean you've heard the stories right but like the high priest would have a rope tied around it. Cuz if he died in there they have to drag him out. And if he died in there they dragged him out. They have to do a whole purification exercise because that was not ideal but they couldn't go in and get him or you would die why that said so that's that right? The law restricted access to God God's law restricted access to him. All Jews could go into the Tabernacle and they did that regularly. So it would go in there to bring your sacrifices and pray. You know, what what have you and there's gobs of death about that. There's just not enough time to get into all that right, but there was specific duties performed in the courtyard. You would necessarily go in there just to hang out or do your laundry. You probably get it out of there pretty quickly. You were there for a purpose right to enter the Tabernacle Courtyard was to conduct Tabernacle business. This is used to doing that only the priests could enter the holy place. So if you want a priest you could never go in so you would do a sacrifice you would give them some blood they would go through sprinkling, right? They would take your offerings into the holy place and do the things they needed to do in the Holy place on your behalf. Do your duties in there? Those are a very clearly spelled out. So certainly you don't have the prettiest going in there and have a smoke and have a coffee and I got all these Jews drive me nuts lecture close the curtain and I know it wasn't like an area just for for priests to hang out but then beyond that you had the most holy place and there was a single specific Duty performed right now. There's a couple steps of that right but it was once a year and you go straight to the blood. They would carry some incense and ask for forgiveness for Undeclared Sands, right? This is the stuff to cover the stuff. He didn't even mention. They don't even understand that it's a sin and then there you go. All governed by God. God said this is how that's going to be.

I assert that we forget who God is and Who We Are by what we see what God is described here or head should say why would he got do that? Why wouldn't God automatically about everybody. It won't take the gas. Why? Can I gave it away earlier? It's cuz we would all die. That's why if not fun open both valves inside, there be a massive heap of corpses because we have no business being in the presence of God because we are and we cannot ever do that. I cannot stand in the presence of God without a mediator and God showing that right now. There's not just one mediator. You got a high priest and you got priest and those curtains at all these locations even go into the Tabernacle. You had to be a Jew right? We're not even getting into that the notion of Gentiles saving the world yet, right, but all this is God saying look how serious I am. Look how good and holy I am I have to buffer you from me for your sake. Not God say God's not going to get painted and have it I got to go wash up these filthy people hanging that's not the issue. The perfect and always will be but it but we have no business in there and God knows and he's showing this When the high priest was in the most holy place the other priests had to leave the holy place. Why you think that is? There's a chance with acronyms I've ever tried to sneak through a curtain. Like I said, darkroom ever had to happen more like as a curtain that has lights and I'll just try to sneak through real quick and no matter how you get there. It's like All the curtains open get out of here behind the other curtain just in case the first curtain opens up. This wasn't even come up with God said do it that way why so the priest wouldn't all die you be in a constant short enough bodies of priests like whoops. Hey. Hey, what's going on? Don't look now. I thought you said look I said don't look right God protecting his people but he's doing it in a way saying I'm doing this. I'm protecting you from my glory because it's too much too much. God's presence has power no joke, but because of our covenant in Christ because of the access we have to God now because all this stuff has been torn down effectively ripped into we forget this we forget how holy God is and how sinful and a filthy we are and we approach this this this relationship. Sometimes it's like my best friend and I'm not saying that he's not your best friend, but he's a best friend that as you have no business taking for granted and the Jews would have understood this part, but I think this is interesting from Italy Sister for me. I found a pretty pretty interesting cuz I don't sit around thinking about like wow, that is so holy. You know, I got no business everyday of our life was that right? Everyday life is going in the courtyard waiting your turn. So, you know you get together for the year and all the while the high priest goes in there and I hope he doesn't die in like okay made it back out our sins have been forgiven if there's a scapegoat in all these things remaining full of them. Every single day and every single year how holy God was and how sinful they were already paid for that, but it's important to remember. No sacrifice as a good question here, I have never sacrificed an animal or atonement never sacrifice and I don't do that anyway, but I never likes Shipyard blood put it on something to make it. Holy Bible read Hebrews very common for the juice to do this. So, what are you do? Nothing, you can't pick up anything you take it over to the Tabernacle and some pieces like I'll put some bring me a goat and woke up at the blood on Arrow piercing. I have however tried to fix myself this guy that the fight god making it making it very clear to me that I can't do it, right if you doubt that Romans 3 makes by big abundantly clear. None is righteous. No, not one. No one understands. No one seeks God all of turn the side together and become worthless. No one does good. Not even one. I read then I say well set me cuz I'm doing okay, right I can turn this around. I want to kick this addiction. I want to lose this and I'm going to tackle this issue on the restore this relationship mimimimimi. I'll do it. I'll do it. I'll do it. I'll do it. What Jesus said I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Well, maybe but first maybe you could do all things Christ would intend for you and God will maybe not just anything you want by saying that you're going to do it and their entire gospels that are built on this today. We don't have this problem of sacrifice or rearing things in and we Commit This to God and we say well this animal will take care of the issue that I can't take care of. I will say that what we often do instead as we talked about fixing it ourselves, right and we certainly don't rely on God like we should we don't take things to God as we are to say. Well just show it up. I'll take care of it. Just like I want some imagine a priest would take care of it make this good. Thank you. See you later. Now I say, oh my good Lord, forgive me anyway on I go and I will change nothing.

Anything we can do Christ could do better. This is true for the Hebrews and it's true for us. So in this case what we see is all his explanation. This is nine chapters in now one thing after another if you've been talking about mediators and priests in all these different aspects of their life that represented God to them Christ has replaced it. Eva starboard I say at least they were trying to obey the laws for better or worse. They don't understand crisis and not coming around. That's why the book is being read to them. They're still propping up God's lawn same but this is God's alright, I'm still trying to do with a good thing. I'm coming in with the animals. And yeah, you can be saved but let's also circumcised some people like having trouble squaring the circle when I when I'm confused. I don't know what to do. I'm going to I'm going to go Retreat to the law. We don't even do that anymore. We're not. Like I said, I wasn't raised you. Wish I wasn't raised in a series of laws that describe my faith, but I can fall back to but what I fall back to is a tippet understanding that God is good and Jesus loves me and he's powerful and I could do kind of whatever I want and you know, it'll it'll work out. Okay, because you know, they'll forget me without understanding who got is why we bother right? Yes, whatever. I think I can do Christ can do it better in this case. What they're talkin about is everything God is described for priests to do the law to do you spell Phil's adult before Phil's a better? And in this case the blood is not figurative. It is literal. So this is a serious we song a lot which is wonderful about the blood of Christ and I've been saying about that for years, but it's something that I think is very easy for us to forget nothing. We do Saint Moritz death death shed blood to sin is blood. It's the way it is. The Jews understood this they understood the blood and there was a lot of it flowing. Right? Will you repeat all this endless sacrifice has lots of blood on things all the time, but their sins evident to them. I can assert that because we read about endless people priest any of the same. Hey, what are you doing? It's God's first big like okay, here we go. Let's get some get some rules together. We're going to make it, never going to get going and Moses like great. Let me go up here. I'll spend some time with. I'll come back and what we got are you kidding me? But we really have a god they don't get it. It's okay. It's okay. We'll put blood on a Fix-It grammar saying we don't have to worry about not saying we'll just continually sacrifice, right? We should we should better understand both our sin and the blood required to cover it now rent. We don't do but sacrifices anymore. Like we like a really right here, but there was a sacrifice there was blood that was shed innocent blood that was shed. Perfect Son of God blood shed for us because of our sin. . Only think about that there was real suffering real atonement like not just physical suffering on the cross, right?

Price dealt with the wrath of God on our behalf because I am a scumbag. That should be troubling to me. It should make me want to be a better person not because Christ can somehow none sacrifice himself for me know what's done is done. But because Christ has called me to do so price to set up paid for those sins. There's a better plan for you than living in sending a slave through for the rest your life. There's Freedom that comes from this this breakdown this blood is eternal. It's endlessly powerful. You don't have to come back over and over and continually crucify Christ or once a year have somebody go to the Cross yet again. It's not the case anymore. But it is a real blood that was shed. He suffered he died for us.

What do we replace this blood of Christ with a narwhal? What's our blood time and I say the world in people and you're probably thinking of what what is the world use for blood I'm talking about unsaved I'm talking about churchgoers. Sublot all the time Maurice up with time. Mommy smiling faces ever come to church hurting really deep. Maybe you don't say a word anybody is smiling good to see you. Beautiful day out nail salon. Great. God is good all the time a man. Why we do that?

I don't know. I don't get into it may be too painful. I look weak. I want everyone to think. I've got it together the crisis working in me. So what other other people do

Right now I don't have a I don't know anything about my sin or whatever else. But if I just come and put in a couple more hours of work at the church. Should take care of it. Maybe I did, you know, I stole from my neighbor, but I also re-roof church so, you know

Pretty probably again with that silly, but there are churches that are built on this principle alone. We don't need the blood of Christ show up. Give it give write a bigger check come in here put on a happy face. People are going to put on a happy face. Oh, I know what if I tell him Happiness equals Holiness if you're happy and healthy and Wealthy, that means you're close to God he's as long as all new shows up a bunch of people who at the very least Healthy and Wealthy because it's comfortable. It's all nonsense folks. That doesn't mean anything. What we need to be relying on is not our time and our money and our happiness in our joy our willingness to 22 engaged or around this be relying on the blood of Christ. It should drive all that if it doesn't own it doesn't save. There's nothing in there that says with committed time or the blood of Christ you can stand in the presence of the father my time my investment meaningless now in so far as my salvation, I'm not saying I will good. I guess this is the old one of the insurance thing or the license to sin. That's why it's all good. Just get the dressing of the book right of the Bible, but like don't just keep sending because Grace is abounding not that off. Not about sending do what Christ has called you to do follow the Commandments follow that good for you good for the world around you it's good for Christ does a good job of displaying the power of Christ in your life, but make sure it's the power of Christ in your life and not your will not your desire to look good or be good and this would have been identified that have to do with you. That's what these people are doing their emotions.

Those poor Jews so much repetition and I worship the same thing every Sunday, right? How boring but their repetition was commanded by the law, but God told him you're going to do this once a year every year and if you don't bad things happen. What's the week we do this we got to keep the goats coming in. We got to keep raising the Sheep. I got saw him right? I got to borrow one from a friend and my goodness gracious. I got work to do all this to keep. Happy if you will. Are repetitions because we're comfortable if that's not true. I would wish I could do to a number of different ways. Why don't we

I've heard some feedback wheel shake when something feels like it's becoming idolatrous or cruise control. I want it changed. I want people to come at me. Like why did we do that? And then I can say why we do it the other way. I don't know nor do I so we're going to do it this way for a while. All right, I guess that's fine. But but we're on a danger here and what God was showing us is our desire to fall into a routine. Right? We think the Jews did it because was commanded by the law right? I start that it was kind of by the law but I bet you if you showed up and said hey, you're not under that long anymore. They still do it. You think so. You're so do we still have Jews? Yes, we do because this happened a New Covenant showed up and I said at least I know where to go. Right. There's that will go there. I'll do this. I hear the covered back and forth because we humans like to do things the way we like to do them and if it happens to a line of what God's up to wonderful but if God changes or what's the move us in a new direction. Is a change of God changes our direction is trying to change our Direction. I just really settled into this deep, it's Doug. I mean really, I got to get out of the structure worship is a fine thing. I'm not trying to. I'm not saying every Sunday this is mix it up and like I serve our savior how we structure worship the way there's a there's a funny meme that I share a cage and it has a kind of condescending so I don't share with anybody. I'm trying to reach for Christ, but it said you worship God your way. I'll worship Him hits. Can I sleep over all our eyes I know what that supposed to mean even as how we as Christians should approach worship not with like X number of chairs and its alignment not like the Tabernacle but there's no structions and things we should do way. We should conduct ourselves in the presence of the Lord how we should worship early to make sure that we are keeping on its proper place. Those are not talk about changing. Yes. We should have structured worship worship won't save us. It isn't like there's going to be a time. We're going to stand there and say well now what song that's the one everyone goes to hell. You can get the update right you broke the worshippers you all go to hell you were saying until you did that. No the blood of Christ saves us we show up here. We do what we do here. We sing the songs we sang because people are spending time larger than it spends time praying seeking the Lord considering the blood of Christ on the impact and then turns to a henna looks for someone to put them together and says God we commit this to you. It's not because we love the song it's because there is a point where you want to sing a song of people know, so you guys can be engaging to worship. The song isn't Saviour singing together and louder doesn't bring us closer to Christ intrinsically we get closer to Christ as we can comprehend the word of God. Hopefully that's in the music in the word of God leads us to who Christ is in his personal what he did it was struck by that your tears roll down her face. Because the music is beautiful, but because Christ isn't rideable they didn't get that either. We miss you a lot, too. So what we don't want to make worship our worship we want to make the focus of our work is going to make Jesus Christ the focus of our worship and whatever that entails us doing to make Christ more focal. Let's do. Zach or message of Hebrews 9 all the stuff at the Tabernacle. So it was pointed this nothing can save us no Priest No amount of of good design of the Tabernacle if that was enough there would be no Christ if it was because of Tabernacles built wrong, or the gold wasn't clear enough. They're called know it will never be enough nothing cuz he was really only save us except for Jesus all this repetition all of the law sir to validate that the entire wall exist to show us how far we are from a holy God. Because of law we have sent. There's God hears me over there as you. Look how far look at the rote repetition that you have to do to even have one person come into my a bit of my presents once a year. Look at the protocol required for that. You want to go with me forever. God wants to go that's very so so so how's he going to do it? Jews never missed they never got that bass all the discipline. They saw the punishment. They saw the distancing for themselves from God of gods trying to teach them as the reward over God's chosen people we get to subject ourselves to endless sacrifice is a mediation through multiple. Priest. I got going to be like, oh my goodness you again. I'm trying to teach you who I am and who you are. You think that's the good part? That's what the good part 7 the whites a relationship with me is coming when price comes your supposed to connect. Those. We're supposed to connect those. Today and it's sometimes really easy for us to get caught up in that in our church. Now, we're going to get we're going to get lost in the new show the world we forget that price has freed us today. Do you know Jesus Christ as you are free of sin today free of it. It no longer. You're no longer a slave to it. It's in the word. I'm not making this up. It's in there. God said it not me. Yeah, we like all that's really cool. Let me just put the shackles back on. Why does my wife think back to the Tabernacle? Right? I mean that's what this book reads as are you got to be kidding me. You guys want to do you want to keep doing this nonsense? Will it's what we've always done enough. I need the reward folk self. Let's do a quick exercise. Close your eyes, please there's not going to be I'm not going to throw water on you and the blood no blood none of that visualize. What makes Church Great try to picture. However, you can the thing that you really look forward to when you come here on a Sunday morning. This some sort of an image of it. What is your picture you figure did you picture your family may be friends singing was the Ford Bullitt. They're going up in your eyes taking copious notes during a brilliantly delivered sermon by picture that at Norwich by the way.

Or do we see the the presence of the Holy Spirit?

Everlasting life with a father in Heaven here in church visualize it here in church to Lost coming home to their savior children.

Wish I could tell you that that's what I envisioned when I think about coming to church on a Sunday morning A lot of times. It's very frenetic right to do some through the same thing us a lot to get the sacrifice. Don't forget that if we leave the whatever. they're not walking into that Tabernacle thinking about presence of God in the most holy place in the Covenant to come that he's been talking about in all of the Old Testament heralding on the side of going to fix everything. Take away all this bird on shockless from that. Yes. I rebuke I like seeing my friends too. I love coming to church and seeing all of you and makes me happy my heart. I love you my family.

But the stuff here should represent Heavenly things we see that being a all that directly they use the word Shadows occasionally and in Hebrews Ben 23, that's what was nicer for copies of the Heavenly things to be purified of these rights for the Heavenly things themselves. With better sacrifices Annie's for crisis in or not in the Holy Place made with hands with your copies of the true thing, but into heaven itself now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf. We walk through those doors. We walk into a we take a Repose of worship in our life. We should know if there is there is Christ at the right hand of the father worshipping the father with us interceding on behalf of us mediating awesome God. family friends all of this everything and I like about church on Earth is a shadow of things to come when you read in Revelation hear about multitude singing right constantly praising God constantly bring Justice Lord. That's why we are we're here. We're deserves Echoes Shadows of what what comes in heaven Emily come here and we see this and I see smiley face and I see people opening their Bible. I see people singing during worship. I want to be thinking about because of Christ's sacrifice. This is much bigger than a few people gathering in a building. And yes, I love being with you guys, but I'm really loving hanging out with my Christ serving my God dwelling with the Holy Spirit, but I've been brought in to commune with because of what Christ did for me. Nothing that I did. It's a gift to be here to give to lift us up in the gift of preach this word. Let's not lose sight of the big picture. We repent because it's necessary told to do it. This isn't I can't forget it. That's all right. Take care of me. I can't hardly send right. I mean everything is good. I'll take care of it. So forgiving know we were pant we do what we have to deal with that but let's not get caught up in the whole notion of what I'm just pretending and I don't know why that's what the Jews were doing that are constantly repenting more sacrifice more Blood to the Head and pray and you know, why? Reassure yourself why when you close your eyes and try to picture. I can't picture Heaven spend some time reading into work pretty well described. This world will end of the Nexus forever in the church building and everything that she has an expiration date everything you see right now as an expiration date. It's all going to be going to be but this building for sure gone absolutely raise new heaven new Earth that in means probably knew everything. I don't think I was going to grab this building and put it on the new Heaven and new earth the church Capital C Church lives forever. That's Eternal. I look forward to worshipping Christ and the father for eternity. The purchase with blood that has the power to save us or ever. Forever doesn't run dry doesn't didn't quite get enough you need another couple who you should have grabbed. None of that. We sing about fountains, but imagine a fountain if you will the size of her that you can't get out from under once once prices said you're mine you're his forever. Nothing is needed for our Salvation. No blood of any kind. We don't need Christ to take the cross a second time and we don't need anything else from anyone else to be saved. And most of us probably agree with that but you'd be surprised how many people today sitting in a church believe they have to do something to be saved.

price moves first he already did it on the cross and he will he will take that first step in redeeming. Don't call the actions Jesus enough for you. Maybe you're thinking of course he is right but I Do by myself stuck on this treadmill self improvement. Just trying to get it all together yourself. I spent a lot of years doing that prior request. It didn't work out very well. That's a start a few pretty pretty shallow. Maybe sick and tired of being sick and tired. And then last question. Are you ready to be free? Pretty open-ended right chains are gone Unshackled from sin from the world. Don't mean you get a you'll never deal with Sanyo have no adversity. That's not what freedom in Christ means. I'll be hardships here, maybe more because of who Christ says who Christ is and how the World Views and write those hardships. Pale in comparison to knowing if there is a perfectly Holy Savior that is active and alive right now in the father's present for us.

Jesus is enough taking care of everything. There is freedom today and there is heaven eventually. Please do not leave this place with questions. What spray?

Turn the father's we dive into your word and we unpack some of these complexities of your law and how it foreshadowed the Saving Grace of Jesus Christ. I Lord I I spend a lot of time just gonna stand it how great you are and how minuscule and terrible and then he regards I am but yet you saw fit to come to this earth live a perfect blameless life and then die on that cross bearing the wrath of God. in order to save those will you call children? And will call Brothers, but I just it's too much.

Thank you for you. Did Lord on that cross? Thank you for saving us from ourselves saving us from our sin from our lostness or doubt in our fear or anger or are feudal vindictiveness and all the things that make up Mankind and so many ways are thank you for saving us from that. Today I pray if there's anyone out here that's hearing this word for the first time and maybe they're confused by to me. They thought they know who Jesus was and now they don't understand is clearly Lord. I pray it will take some time to talk with me with mic with anybody here that to get to the Bahamas listen to dig into the word in and spend time figuring out who you say you are. That's all we need to know Lord what I say you are who I say, you aren't doesn't matter. It's what you say you are who you say you are and you say You Are Holy and you are perfect and You say you came to Earth and took on the form of a man who died for me.

Thank you Lord. Thank you for all that. Thank you for everything that you've done. Thank you for this morning. Thank you for this time together Lord. Thank you for the spirit being in this place right now moving actively alive. working An order at once again, I just I pray that there's anybody today that's struggling can't connect the dots want to know you may be a For the First Time Lord that they won't leave this place until they tell there done that once again on a thank you. See you sometime. I pray amen.
