The title for today’s message is: “How Thirsty Am I?” continued from last Sunday. The primary teaching text is John 8: 12 - 20. This is the time of the celebration of the Jewish festival – Sukkot now at the end of the festival. Jesus has just told the people in verse 10 – “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life”. Why is ‘light’ so important? Total commitment – Really? Let us listen and learn.
