Transition from previous Sermon: Christ needs to be a welcomed guest in the home, but also in the center of your job.
My Junior Summer of College I worked at a 7-Eleven. It was a great job. I really established by self right away, because I didn’t steal from the till or any of the products that they sold. I wasn’t very good at the lottery machine, but could really stack the drinks and mop the floor. I made enough at the end of the summer to purchase a wedding ring for my fiance. As I was leaving the store they asked me why I didn’t steal when everyone else had. Not to brag on myself but Christ. I was able to share Christ with them and that meant alot. They also said I was a hard worker and that meant alot since they slept in the back room on a cot.
Nine workplace attitudes bosses hate:

NMM--Need more money
WCT--Wastes company time
PPP--Promises, promises, promises
NMH--Needs more help
ACD--Always complaining and disagreeable
CWS--Clock watcher's syndrome
TTM--The trouble maker
SRM--Supports rumor mill

You will one day get a job will you be ready for it? I hope you want to do a good job, but more importantly I hope that you work as if you were working for Christ.
Paul begins right by addressing our conduct in the workplace for the opportunity to share the gospel.
Servants Serve - your obedience! ,
Servants- Paul was speaking to all servants, slaves, bondservants, and workers.
Some were owned and some were hired.
Some of then because they had to and others because they wanted to.
Paul reminds them no matter what their situation they were to work in such a way as to please God.
We sometimes need to look past our boss to God who is really in charge. “The Kings heart is in the hand of the Lord.” God is the greater boss remember He is ultimately in charge.
God’s Guidelines
“Servant’s, obey your your master according to the flesh...”
Job: Make Him look good or successful
by answering - I’m here to serve you.
“Obey in all things....”
Job: Be willing to do what is asked of you.
by answering - Whatever you ask me I will do.
“Not with eyeservice as menpleasers...”
Job: give an honest day of work instead of just enough to make your boss happy.
by answering - You give me a job and I will keep working on it even after you have left … I keep going even after the job is done.
“but in singleness of heart, fearing God..”
Job: with the same sincerity as if your boss was the Lord.
by answering - You and the Lord are the same and I’m going to give you and Him the same. The goal the best.
“and whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men…”
Job: do each job cheerfully with all your heart.
by answering - I enjoy work, This job is of the Lord and I will be thankful for it and give it my best.
“knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ…”
Job: get it done, you will be rewarded because remember you don’t work for a check, but for the Lord. He will reward you.
by answering - More than just a check, but a finished job knowing that it was done unto the Lord. I must remember that it is Christ who I am serving constantly.
Bonehead Bosses - No excuses for not doing your best. No joke difficult. Two front war yourself and also you boss.
Laziness and stealing time.

Best Bosses
The best bosses give what is just and equal
They know they under a boss in Heaven as well.
Everyone need to work in a place to please God. Employer and Employee.
If you're into bumper-sticker philosophy, you've probably seen the axiom, "I owe, I owe, so off to work I go." For a vast portion of the workforce, that's the best reason they can muster for going to the job each day. According to one poll, only 43 percent of American office workers are satisfied with their jobs. In Japan, the figure dips to 17 percent. In the first century, Christian slaves had even less reason to be enthusiastic about their work. But Paul gave them a way to grasp a glimpse of glory amid the grind. He wanted them to "adorn the doctrine of God," that is, to show the beauty of their faith in Christ by how they work ().
