A incorrect placement?

We spoke about the fact that what is happening in , is a reaction to a problem. The Greek-speaking Jews has a problem in that their widows were not being fed? A minor problem I would think. All that is needed, is someone to serve at tables...”…the superintending of the distribution of the food”....simple job? This could be anyone....not a big deal but I want to offer to you that in the Kingdom of God, there is no wok that is simple....no work in the Kingdom is ordinary. I wonder if Stephen would have thought this? Why do I have to do this? Why am I being given this simple job? I want t say that there is no place that you are placed that is by accident. God places you and sends you places for a reason.
speaks about a young man Joseph. Joseph has a type of a Midas touch....everything he does, turns into gold…over and over the Bible would tell us: The Lord was with Joseph so that he prospered.. From the time he put him in charge of his household and of all that he owned, the Lord blessed the household of the Egyptian because of Joseph. The blessing of the Lord was on everything Potiphar had, both in the house and in the fieldGenesis 39:20–21 Joseph’s master took him and put him in prison, the place where the king’s prisoners were confined. But while Joseph was there in the prison, 21 the Lord was with him; he showed him kindness and granted him favor in the eyes of the prison warden. The warden paid no attention to anything under Joseph’s care, because the Lord was with Joseph and gave him success in whatever he did. I believe that God allowed Joseph to be placed in prison. When you are placed somewhere, there is a reason....God will use you in the most dirty and confused places. We might at times wonder but why is everything against me....he found favor in the yes of Pothiphar but Potiphar threw him in prison and sided with his wife, why did God not come through for him if he found favor in the eyes of God? He was innocent....God should fight for him? There is nowhere that you are placed that is not without reason?
I am reminded of the words of the Psalm-writer who says these words: in : “ Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.
23 The warden paid no attention to anything under Joseph’s care, because the Lord was with Joseph and gave him success in whatever he did.
2 The Lord was with Joseph so that he prospered, and he lived in the house of his Egyptian master.
5 From the time he put him in charge of his household and of all that he owned, the Lord blessed the household of the Egyptian because of Joseph. The blessing of the Lord was on everything Potiphar had, both in the house and in the field.
20 Joseph’s master took him and put him in prison, the place where the king’s prisoners were confined. But while Joseph was there in the prison,
4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
5 From the time he put him in charge of his household and of all that he owned, the Lord blessed the household of the Egyptian because of Joseph. The blessing of the Lord was on everything Potiphar had, both in the house and in the field.
Stephen is placed in a place of serving food? Overqualified I would think?
It is the same words we would hear from Daniel as he is in the Lion’s Den, the same thing that Sadrach,Meshack and Abednego would say when they are in the fiery furnace…The consequences in every situation were very clear, Jehovah Shammah, God Immanuel....God with us but people turning to God...
I will fear no evil; for thou art with me;
Jesus has a conversation with Martha, the sister of Lazarus: “ Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.
Jesus has a conversation with Martha, the sister of Lazarus: “ Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
You are in a certain situation....God is in control and also God will use your situation for His Glory and Honour. Malika story
40 Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
When we are in a situation…what do people see. When we trust God, people are attracted. Stephen has a face like an angel? Amidst the storms, I am standing, I am smiling....
So where does this come from....Full of faith, full of power, full of wisdom…Holy Spirit
21 the Lord was with him; he showed him kindness and granted him favor in the eyes of the prison warden.
