Today is Memorial of the Holy Guardian Angeles. Angels are created by God, they are pure spirit in nature. Angel means Messenger, St. Agustin says Angels is the title of the office they hold messenger. Pope Clement X 1670 approved devotion to Guardian Angels.

Body

Body

Angels are a truth of faith supported by many scripture verses in OT and NT. One of the most notable verse is that was quoted to Jesus during his desert temptation: “He will command his angels concerning you to guard you.” God sends his angels to announce divine will, to rebuke, execute judgment , encourage, assist, and teach. Angels have rankings and territorial positions and responsibilities, There are angels that are Cherubim and angels that are Seraphim, we are given the names of three prominent Angles in Scripture Michael, Gabriel and Raphael.

Conclusion

And in our Gospel today Jesus calls a child over puts his arms around the child and says unless you turn and become like children you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.. who ever receives a child like this receives me, because their angels in heaven look upon the face of my heavenly Father.
Children are completely depended and trust their parents for everything physical and emotional for their well being. He says we all need to be like that towards God. That’s exciting.
God has given us everything including a Guardian Angle to protect us, we should be confident and not afraid, let us be devoted and grateful calling upon Guardian Angels for help and thanking them and our heavenly Father above all, as his dependent children.
Let us also pray for our friends and family members and call upon their Guardian Angels who are having a difficult time facing the Father, to lead them in the path of life that will bring them ever closer to the love of God through Christ our Lord Jesus.
