Faith & Blessings Part 2

Kidz World Today - Children’s Church
Mark 9:23 NKJV
Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
Confession of Faith
I am not moved by what I see or by what I feel. I am moved by what I believe. I believe the WORD of God! The victory is mine! I have it now! I can see it through the eyes of my faith!

God’s power is released through faith

Mark 9:23 NLT
“What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.”
By faith and faith alone do we enter into the blessings, and participate in the glory of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ.

What Is Faith?

Hebrews 11:1 NKJV
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:1 AMP
NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].
Hebrews 11:1 NLT
Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.
Faith is the connecting power into the spiritual realm, which links us with God and makes Him become a tangible reality to our senses perceptions .
Faith is the basic ingredient to begin a relationship with God.
Faith is the confidence that the things revealed and promised in the Word are true, even though you or I may not see it yet, and gives us a foundation that what we expect in faith, will come to pass.
Faith is the tangible essence of anything you or I hope for -
This means the first thing that shows up to know that what we hope for is going to materialize is faith!
Hebrews 11:6 AMP
But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out].

It is impossible to be saved without faith

Everything in salvation is based on faith. We have to believe in that which we cannot see. Faith is a spiritual force that overcomes great opposition and can carry a person through great trials and triumphs over circumstances in the natural realm
Romans 1:17 NLT
This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.”
Galatians 3:11 NLT
So it is clear that no one can be made right with God by trying to keep the law. For the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.”
Hebrews 10:38 NCV
Those who are right with me will live by faith. But if they turn back with fear, I will not be pleased with them.”
Our relationship with God is based on our Faith!

Abraham is the 'father' of faith

Romans 4:3 NLT
For the Scriptures tell us, “Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.”
Romans 4:9 NCV
Is this blessing only for those who are circumcised or also for those who are not circumcised? We have already said that God accepted Abraham’s faith and that faith made him right with God.
Romans 4:13 NLT
Clearly, God’s promise to give the whole earth to Abraham and his descendants was based not on his obedience to God’s law, but on a right relationship with God that comes by faith.

Abraham heard the Word

Abraham based his Faith in what He heard from God
Romans 4:18–19 NLT
Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping—believing that he would become the father of many nations. For God had said to him, “That’s how many descendants you will have!” And Abraham’s faith did not weaken, even though, at about 100 years of age, he figured his body was as good as dead—and so was Sarah’s womb.

Abraham did not waiver in his faith

Romans 4:20 NKJV
He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God,
He rejoiced in it as an accomplished fact

I Have Faith In What I Believe

2 Timothy 1:12 NCV
I am suffering now because I tell the Good News, but I am not ashamed, because I know Jesus, the One in whom I have believed. And I am sure he is able to protect what he has trusted me with until that day.
