Jesus Left Behind

Starting off this series, looking at Jesus at a young age.
Luke
Luke 2:41–43 CSB
Every year his parents traveled to Jerusalem for the Passover Festival. When he was twelve years old, they went up according to the custom of the festival. After those days were over, as they were returning, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem, but his parents did not know it.
I do not recommend this.
Luke 2:44-
Luke 2:44 CSB
Assuming he was in the traveling party, they went a day’s journey. Then they began looking for him among their relatives and friends.
Can you imagine how Panicked his parents where?
Luke 2:45 CSB
When they did not find him, they returned to Jerusalem to search for him.
Luke 2:46 CSB
After three days, they found him in the temple sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions.
Luke 2:
Now this is a place I really want to start with all of you. Jesus is 12 years old at this time and he is sitting and talking with the adults about Godly things.
How many of you guys would be willing to sit down with the elders and pastors of this church and ask questions about God. Or explain what you believe at this time?
What about sitting down with a Adult and have that same conversation?

The bible says in
1 Timothy 4:12 CSB
Don’t let anyone despise your youth, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.
That is what Jesus was doing here.
Luke 2:47 CSB
And all those who heard him were astounded at his understanding and his answers.
This is not just for Jesus, but this is for all of us that are saved!
You are called to be a light to the rest of the world. Young and old alike.
In the eyes of God you are not just your earthly age. But each of you are have your Christian age. Are you immature in your faith or are you mature in your faith.
The crazy thing for that age varies from person to person on how fast they age. Some of you have reached a level of Christian maturity that is above even some of the adults in our Church. But some of you are still babies in your walk with God.
Both are ok, as long as your still growing.
The main point of tong
When you are in class do you not ask your teachers questions or give your own answers?
Did you know that it is ok to question me about what I taught on?
Did you know that it is ok to talk to Stan or our elders about thins going on in the Church.
