Success is a nice word, isn’t it? It’s that sense of achievement and recognition – a pat on the back, a gold star, a “well done” and a smiley face – “Congratulations, you did it!” But how do we actually define success? And aren’t we often so preoccupied with the road and the secret to success, that we forget to stop and think about what we’re trying to succeed at? See, when we really think about how we want to succeed – at life, generally speaking – we realise that it’s actually someone else who achieves it for us. Jesus is our success and he completely redefines what it means to succeed in this life.
