TEXT: Matt. 28:19; Acts 1:7; Acts 2:42; Acts 13;1-3

Exegetical Proposition: Jesus promised to empower His disciples to according to their obedience to His Great Commission.

Theological Proposition: Jesus promised to empower His disciples according to their obedience to His Great Commission.

Homiletical Proposition: The Christians quality of life is dependent on their obedience to the Great Commission.

Interrogative: What is the Great Commission?

I.  Jesus commissioned His disciples (Matt, 28:19,20)

A.  To make disciples of all nations (v.19a)

B.  To baptize (v.19b)

C.  To teach all that He had commanded (v.20a)

II.  Jesus explains the way of His commission (Acts 1:8)

A.  His disciples would receive power to make disciples

B.  His disciples would receive power to baptize

C.  His disciples would receive power to teach

III.  The Holy Spirit baptized disciples (Acts 2:2-4)

A.  To make three thousand more disciples (Acts 2:38-39)
