Listen carefully to everything he tells you.' 23 Then Moses said, 'Anyone who will not listen to that Prophet will be cut off from God's people and utterly destroyed.'
24 "Starting with Samuel, every prophet spoke about what is happening today.
25 You are the children of those prophets, and you are included in the covenant God promised to your ancestors.
For God said to Abraham, 'Through your descendants all the families on earth will be blessed.'
26 When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you people of Israel, to bless you by turning each of you back from your sinful ways."
Personal:
Divorce is when two people in who were very much in love allowed something or someone come between them…
God is very much in love with us… but we let “having a good time or living for ourselves” come between that great love… God is hurt and wants us reconciled… get it back together… (pain every child feels is like the church)

Good built the bridge… we need only to cross!

The need of a rescuer…
* The world’s way
* Satisfied in Wealth
* Satisfied in Self-Actualization
* Me first!!
* Versus God and others
* Offence against the good God has intended for us and the relationship he desires…
* Injurious behaviour to someone close
* Resulted in a divorce
* Strong desire to reconcile!!
* Clean Slate

* Isn’t wonderful that our rescuer doesn’t harass us with our past mistakes…

The Kingdom… now and not yet…

* Promise, covenant by God…  to the numerous offspring of Abraham
* Heb 11:12 12 And so a whole nation came from this one man, *Abraham*, who was too old to have any *children*-- a nation with so many people that, like the stars of the sky and the sand on the seashore, there is no way to count them.
