The theme of this section is why is Jesus Christ better than the prophets in revelation on God’s word

In different times and places God spoke to the prophets
God’s word in the Old Testament was not completed by one author
All the prophets did not know one another
They lived in different times or seasons
Elijah did not know Isaiah
The prophets did not know which piece would follow or how their piece fit into the overall scheme of God’s word
God spoke to the prophets in many different manners or ways
He spoke to Moses through a burning bush
He spoke to Ezekiel through dead bones
He spoke with different topics
History, biography, genealogy, legislative, religious ordinances, spiritual experiences, prophecy, etc..
This encourages me
“So if you have difficulty in grasping his word in Leviticus, you may hear him clearly in Proverbs. If you don’t see the point clearly in Zechariah, you may still be deeply moved by the message of Jonah. If you don’t catch on yet to the strange visions in Ezekiel, you may be sustained by the sufferings of Job. The point is this: God means to provide a lot of possibilities in the Old Testament where you can hear him. He has spoken and he is not silent.”

Jesus completely followed His Father’s will - He never once failed God
When Jesus spoke, He understood everything. He knew how each piece participated in the overall whole.

God’s heir is Christ - Is it any wonder Mary said to the servants “Whatsoever He saith unto you, do it” ().
Often our inheritance has a self-fish motive but for Jesus to be heir, He had to empty Himself completely.
He shares His heirship with His brothers and sisters in Christ ().
He has the power to follow through with His promises
