33 พระองค์จึงเสด็จมายังเมืองคาเปอรนาอุม และเมื่อเข้าไปในเรือนแล้ว พระองค์ตรัสถามเหล่าสาวกว่า "เมื่อมาตามทางนั้น ท่านทั้งหลายได้โต้แย้งกันด้วยข้อความอันใด"
34 เหล่าสาวกก็นิ่งอยู่ เพราะเมื่อมาตามทางนั้นเขาได้เถียงกันว่า คนไหนจะเป็นใหญ่กว่ากัน
35 พระองค์ได้ประทับนั่ง แล้วทรงเรียกสาวกสิบสองคนนั้นมาตรัสแก่เขาว่า "ถ้าผู้ใดใคร่จะได้เป็นคนต้น ก็ให้ผู้นั้นเป็นคนท้ายสุด และเป็นผู้รับใช้ของคนทั้งปวง"
36 พระองค์จึงทรงเอาเด็กเล็กๆคนหนึ่งมาให้ยืนท่ามกลางเหล่าสาวก แล้วทรงอุ้มเด็กนั้นไว้ ตรัสแก่เหล่าสาวกว่า
37 "ถ้าผู้ใดจะรับเด็กเล็กๆเช่นนี้คนหนึ่งในนามของเรา ผู้นั้นก็รับเรา และผู้ใดได้รับเรา ผู้นั้นก็มิใช่รับเรา แต่รับพระองค์ผู้ทรงใช้เรามา"
38 ยอห์นจึงทูลพระองค์ว่า "พระอาจารย์เจ้าข้า พวกข้าพระองค์ได้เห็นคนหนึ่งขับผีออกโดยพระนามของพระองค์ ซึ่งคนนั้นมิได้ตามพวกเรามา และพวกข้าพระองค์ได้ห้ามเขา เพราะเขามิได้ตามพวกเรามา"
39 พระเยซูจึงตรัสว่า "อย่าห้ามเขาเลย เพราะว่าไม่มีผู้ใดจะกระทำการอัศจรรย์ในนามของเรา แล้วอีกประเดี๋ยวหนึ่งอาจกลับพูดประณามเรา

41 เพราะเราบอกความจริงแก่ท่านว่า ผู้ใดจะเอาน้ำถ้วยหนึ่งให้พวกท่านดื่มในนามของเรา เพราะท่านทั้งหลายเป็นฝ่ายพระคริสต์ ผู้นั้นจะขาดบำเหน็จก็หามิได้
42 แต่ผู้ใดจะทำผู้เล็กน้อยเหล่านี้คนหนึ่งที่เชื่อในเราให้หลงผิด ถ้าเอาหินโม่ก้อนใหญ่ผูกคอผู้นั้นถ่วงเสียในทะเลก็ดีกว่า
43 และถ้ามือของท่านทำให้ท่านหลงผิด จงตัดมันทิ้งเสีย ซึ่งจะเข้าสู่ชีวิตด้วยมือด้วนยังดีกว่ามีสองมือและต้องตกนรกในไฟที่ไม่มีวันดับ
44 ในที่นั้นตัวหนอนก็ไม่ตาย และไฟก็ไม่ดับเลย
45 ถ้าเท้าของท่านทำให้ท่านหลงผิด จงตัดมันทิ้งเสีย ซึ่งจะเข้าสู่ชีวิตด้วยเท้าด้วนยังดีกว่ามีเท้าสองเท้าและต้องถูกทิ้งลงในนรกในไฟที่ไม่มีวันดับ
46 ในที่นั้นตัวหนอนก็ไม่ตาย และไฟก็ไม่ดับเลย
47 ถ้าตาของท่านทำให้ท่านหลงผิด จงควักออกทิ้งเสีย ซึ่งจะเข้าในอาณาจักรของพระเจ้าด้วยตาข้างเดียวยังดีกว่ามีสองตา และต้องถูกทิ้งในไฟนรก

Why do we think that God would encourage and command discipline and order for THOUSANDS OF YEARS until our generation?
God desires our hearts, but He knows that when the emotions fade, discipline and habit will help keep us close to Him!

I am not against honouring pastors and preachers and missionaries…BUT never place more emphasis on who your pastor is than Who your Saviour is!

Does your life draw Christians to obedience to the Word of God, or do you cause them to neglect duty before God?
Do the things you allow in your life draw you closer to God, or obstruct you?
Do the desires you indulge bring true joy, or guilt?

If we will do these things, that will go a long way to having peace in the church!
