And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ;

Rejection (Proverbs 15:1)
A gentle answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger.
Right words (Luke 12:11-12)
“When they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and the authorities, do not worry about how or what you are to speak in your defense, or what you are to say; for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.”

#1 mistake… NOT SHARING!
Romans 10:12-17
For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him; for “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!” However, they did not all heed the good news; for Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?” So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

You are sharing your testimony… what you know
Colossians 4:5-6
Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity. Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person.
Be yourself… God has placed you there
You are NOT doing this in your own power… Remember Romans 1:16
Let people respond (conversation NOT Speech) and listen to them!

God’s love and grace to show mercy on mankind for their sin and send His Son to die for man’s sin, be buried and rise again!
Belief in the finished work of Jesus is crucial John 6:47
“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes has eternal life.
NOT perfection… this is sanctification and is a progress and seen when we meet Christ in Heaven

NOT “are you a christian?” or “Do you believe in God?”
Do you know for sure if you were to die that you would go to heaven?
Do not have a canned speech or monolog
USE SCRIPTURE… it is powerful and TRUE
