Healing on the Sabbath

V 16
Its time for a confrontation
Jesus intentionally healed on the Sabbath
told the man pick up your bed and walk
they could have accepted him as the Messiah
as the one from God
as the one foretold by the prophets
the one Simeon and Anna was looking for

And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day. And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.

he is the great impostor wanting to be worshipped
as long as they look like they are worshiping God satan is happy
Satan is very happy with their rules
lets reject God because he is breaking our rules

The Sabbath

The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?
John John is proving the deity of Jesus
Jesus is claiming to be equal to the Father V 17
My Father is working. He has a whole universe to maintain
He has you to look after
He has your prayers to listen to and answer
He has angels reporting to Him
He has people He wants us to minister to
Jesus is very much in tuned with the Father
Jesus and the Father are equals, are 1
V 18 the Jews are angry because Jesus made Himself equal to the Father
The Sabbath was made for us to rest. God knows us, He made us,
without rest our bodies,and minds break down

I Can Do Nothing Of Myself

is Jesus limited?
I thought Jesus was equal to the Father?
How can it be that Jesus cant do of His own will?

Jesus is in submission to the Father
out of love for the Father
God the Father is the one we should be obeying
But self is god we do what we want
Jesus is a perfect example of what we as Christians should be

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Whatever the Father does
from eternity past
whatever whenever however
the love of the Father
Sent Jesus to be the propitiation for our sins

The Father is the life giver and the life taker

The Jews were Judging Jesus for healing on the Sabbath
but in doing so they are dishonoring the Father

as Christians we will not be Judged
our sins are all forgiven
