The 5,000 were fed with just 2 fish and 5 loaves and the disciples went around and picked up 12 basketfuls of leftovers. Not only that they saw Jesus walk on water. Yet Mark lets us know that the disciples missed the very lesson of the feeding of the 5,000. What were they missing? How could they see Jesus do miracle after miracle and yet not understand the lesson Jesus was trying to tell them? We will look into this very thing in today in Encounters with Jesus: Then and Now!
