Big Idea
Jesus sanctifies himself so that we through him and his word can be sanctified in the truth of who he is as revealed in the Word of God
Sanctify = Gk hagiazō
to make Holy, or sacred or It means to set a part for Holy use.
What are we made Holy of Sanctified with and for?
We are made Holy with and by God’s Word
As we embrace the truth of God, through his word we grow in our trust for Jesus and live our lives in active faith towards him.
· Unity (Oneness)
o Wholesome Relationship
o Interdependence not Co-dependence
o God is source through Christ
Our oneness and wholesomeness through relationship with the Father, Jesus, The Holy Spirit, and the body of believers facilitates a spiritual Joy in the believer

Jesus prayer is for us to be witness to the world not absent and remote from the world
Our acceptance that we are not a part of the world and that the world hates us allows us to:
We can live in the World without becoming a part of the World
Live in the World without becoming a part of the World
Endure the attack of the World against our obedience to God according to his Word
