I. Knowledge is Power.

[epignosis: noun. cognitive content perhaps that emphasizes a personal acquaintance with, or a recognition of the truth of, the content]
Knowledge of Jesus is the Power of God for living the Christian life.
My knowledge of Jesus = My intimacy with Jesus
(God is relational being, and our knowledge of him is both cognitive and experiential. What we read in the scripture, we can experience in life as we pursue our relationship with Him.)

II. God’s Power is for God’s Purpose.

God’s #1 pursuit is His glory. As a follower of Jesus, God’s #1 pursuit becomes my ultimate life purpose. When we become believers we join God in that pursuit. Our life purpose becomes the pursuit of His glory; living in such a way that glorifies Him. We glorify God when we partake of his nature. Kuya Prudy said it well… “God is glorified when our lives reflect His own character back to Him.”
The Path to Purpose

III. When we live by God’s Power for God’s Purpose we get God’s Prize.
