*Proverbs 16:25-* Proverbs 16:25 -There is *a way* that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Can I choose to go another way- other than what God clearly indicates is His way?

Yes

How can I know His way- each day of my life?

*Prevent this attitude*

*Proverbs 11:14* - Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.

*Proverbs 29:1* - He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.

*Adopt This attitude*

*Proverbs 3:5-6* - Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

6 In all *thy ways* acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Our way…

 

*James 5:20* \\ 20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of *his way* shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

God’s  Way

*Hebrews 5:2* \\ 2 Who can have *compassion on* the ignorant, and on *them that are out of the way;* for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity.

*Romans 3:9-12* \\ 9 What then? are we better than they?

No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; \\ 10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: \\ 11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

\\ 12 They are all gone *out of the way*, [of God]  they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

*Is there any indication that the way is relevant outside of salvation?

            It seems connected –the way of salvation determines the Life’s path ~/way –that is ] how you will go and conduct yourself.

With god’s guidance [His way] or without [our way]

 

*Genesis 24:27* \\ 27 And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of my master Abraham, who hath not left destitute my master of his mercy and his truth*: I being in the way*, the LORD led me to the house of my master’s brethren.

*            This clearly seems to indicate being in the way God lead him- how does he know that ?

Investigate the passage and look for signs.*

·         *braham no doubt consulted with God and promised that He would lead the servant –Gen 24:7*

·         *He prayed for God to clearly direct him - in Gen 24:12*

*Psalm 1*

1 Blessed/ is/ the man that walketh not [the way of the world –flesh and Devil] *in the counsel of the ungodlya, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornfu*l.

*God’s Way*

 

2 But his *delight/ is/ in the law of the LORD*; and *in his law doth he meditate day and night*.

*RESULT OF THIS WAY**à* 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not witherb; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

 

the way of the world –flesh and Devil

*RESULT OF THIS WAY**à*

4 The ungodly/ are/ not so: but/ are/ like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

He is watching and will judge accordingly

6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

*2 Peter 2:21* \\ 21 For it had been better for them not to have known *the way of righteousness*, than, after they have known it, *to turn from the holy commandment* delivered unto them.

*Haggai 1:3-7 * \\ 3 Then came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying, \\ 4 Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste?

\\ 5 Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; *Consider your ways*.

\\ 6 Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.

\\ 7 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; *Consider your ways.*

There are 2 essntial ways-

           

            God’s

            Man’s

 

God’s is begun when one is saved- and we can leave it for our way-

God clearly doesn’t bless our way
