Which Kingdom?

Acts 1:1–12 KJV 1900
1 The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, 2 Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: 3 To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: 4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. 5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. 6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? 7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. 8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. 9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. 12 Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day’s journey.
Acts 1:3 To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:
They asked Him, will you restore Israel at this time? A very specific question, and Jesus answers them. The time that the Father chooses to restore Israel is in His hand. He has the power to do it, and He will make the choice when to do it.
They had kingdom restoration on their mind, Jesus had been teaching and speaking to them about it. They were thinking the kingdom of Israel, but Jesus had taught them earlier, that the kingdom of God was within you (them).
Luke 17:20–21 KJV 1900
20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: 21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
It was not limited to Israel, but whosoever will!
Not saved only for those predestined to choose Him, but open to “Whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved!”
Acts 2:21 KJV 1900
21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Not for Jews alone
Nor white people alone
Nor black people alone
Not just for a certain tribe, or even the 12 tribes
John 3:16 KJV 1900
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

The Mission: Restore The Kingdom!

The Kingdom of God is within you....
The restoration of Israel, and it’s time frame, is in the Father’s hands. He has the power, and the knowledge, and the decision, as to when Israel will be restored...
But YOU will receive power
for the restoration of the Kingdom of God within you!
Romans 14:17 KJV 1900
17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Not in meat and drink…eating kosher, avoiding pork, etc, you don’t restore it by changing your physical diet!
It IS IN:
RIGHTEOUSNESS
PEACE
JOY IN THE HOLY GHOST
We begin to understand!
The Holy Ghost would help us to maintain righteousness by purging us, and burning up the chaff, the useless in our life!
You can’t play around with sin, you have got to burn it up! Get rid of it!
Luke 3:16–17 KJV 1900
16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire: 17 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable.
He would help us to have and keep peace in our hearts by directing us to the areas that need humbling and repentance.
He would bring us to a lasting joy by bringing us into a consistent nearness with Jesus.
Psalm 16:11 KJV 1900
11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: In thy presence is fulness of joy; At thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Kingdom Right Side Up

These who have turned the world upside down....
They were righting the upside down kingdom,:
Putting God back on the throne instead of self
Exalting humility instead of pride
Crucifying the flesh instead of fortifying it
You will receive power....(restoring God’s kingdom in you)
The rightful king on the throne
Get Self off the throne
Get Pride off the throne!
Get the flesh off the throne!
The rightful dominion
If I am His kingdom, then in my life is the place where His will is always done!

You Shall Be Witnesses (Restoring God’s Kingdom In The World)

A witness is called to testify in a court of law as to the accuracy of the evidence. To share what they have experienced, or seen firsthand.
We need witnesses that are RIGHTEOUS, FILLED WITH PEACE, JOYFUL
Not filled with pride, self, lust and lasciviousness
Not with a contentious, nagging spirit, always ready to argue
Not with a sorrowful, joyless spirit
But a witness to how good it is to serve God!
A witness to how good the kingdom is when it is restored!
Last Earthly Words of Jesus...!!!
