Theme: Standing strong in grace by trusting God. Peter is telling us that grace is operating through how we actively trust the Lord. We trust in God by humbling ourselves and we wait in Christ Jesus. When we are in the middle of suffering we are anchoring in God’s promises, we are hoping in what Christ will do.
